Erskine Community Halls Falkirk Description

Erskine Community Halls – vibrant community facilities in the heart of Falkirk

A former church building, Erskine Community Halls provide a flexible selection of vibrant spaces for local events – continuing a tradition that made the building the heart of the community for more than a 100 years.

A variety of rooms and halls, as well as the former church sanctuary, offer a range of capacities and usage – and all are available for rental either on an ongoing basis or for a one off event.

Erskine Community Halls has been approved by the local authorities as a marriage venue. With its grand entrance, aisles and Victorian architecture it is a perfect backdrop to such a special event.

Equally its historic sanctuary lends itself to the dignity required for funeral services and commemorations, with separate rooms available for privacy.

For families wishing to make a special event out of a non-religious celebration for the naming of a new baby Erskine has the facilities.

With its outstanding acoustics it is an ideal venue for concerts and events.

And the selection of separate halls, entrances and kitchen offer flexible spaces for parties, events, meals and regular meetings and classes.

The Holistic Fair organised by @Mary-Jane Armstrong at Erskine Community Halls on 10th & 18th June laid out a fantastic mixture of stalls with an array of crystals, singing bowls, salt lamps, incense, cards, psychic readers, therapists, Reiki, Aura readings, various self healing goods, including jewellery. There were workshops/talks/demos covering a wide range of topics and therapies including Kinesiology, Shamanic Drumming, Limbic Reflexology in Yoga and Blockfit to mention just a few.
Rounding things off was a performance from the Kinnaird singers.
This was the first fair hosted by Erskine and we are very pleased how well it worked out with close to 1000 people coming through the doors. We look forward to many more community events and fairs in the future!

There was a great turn out over the week end with more than 100 visitors joining us at the Erskine Community Halls for the “Falkirk Open Doors Day” , many of them with ideas on how The Halls can be used for community activities, societies and clubs.
The Erskine Team put in a big effort to be ready for the day, and so it was really good to have so many people pop in- if a little overwhelming at times, we were really surprised but thrilled to have some many visitors.

We are at the early stages of planning a wedding fair for this autumn with bridal and Mother of the bride wear. The fantastic central aisle of Erskine will be the main catwalk so that the brides and family can see how great the clothes work walking the real aisle before the big day!
We are busy with a local group of drama and music students to prepare a special Christmas Cabaret event for young and old to add some more fun to the run up to Christmas. More details to follow!
Exciting new developments coming soon >watch this space<
