ES Session Chanter is a small business based in Monifieth near Dundee, Scotland.
It is owned by Lindsay Ellis who is a well known and respected piper worldwide (Grade 1 Pipe Major). Lindsay has competed at the highest level of piping in both solo and pipe bands and has over 40 years piping experience.
The chanter is unique and is thought to be the only one of its design worldwide. The instrument has been designed with 4 component parts and is made of high grade aluminium. Aluminium, is sustainable, recyclable and extremely durable, African Blackwood and the likes are not.
This makes the chanter green and helps to play a small part in saving the planet.
