Esk Valley Church

Esk Valley Church: to know and make known Jesus Christ.
We want to learn what it means to follow Jesus today by worshiping, growing, serving & witnessing.

Esk Valley Church is a new church to serve the central Midlothian area. It is planted by St Columba’s Free Church of Scotland in Edinburgh. The plant is led by Tom Muir, a minister of the Free Church.

Having started almost from scratch we don’t yet have a building or any facilities. At present we are using rooms in the Scottish Mining Museum in the heart of Newtongrange. It’s a good central location in the heart of the region as we get going as a church.

We’re just ordinary people from different backgrounds, ages and stages who have come to trust in Jesus as Lord and Saviour. However, you don’t have to be a Christian, dress smart or already know the Bible back to front to come. If you are interested in coming to know Jesus we’d love to have you.
