Full house (actually over booked) for this mornings 06:45 circuit class @liftgymsuk ! ▪️ -16 stations, x2 rounds of 40:20 work:rest, and x1 round of 20:20 ! ▪️ -Introduced some new exercises including safety bar squats, trap bar deadlifts, and landline press 🏋️‍♀️ !

Another reason why I truly believe @liftgymsuk is the best gym in Edinburgh, possibly Scotland...and maybe even the world 🌍🤔 !? . -Although we have top of the range facilities and equipment compared to other gyms, the one thing money can’t buy (unless you are ridiculously minted) is people! We genuinely have amazing members and some pretty awesome staff, which together create such a positive gym environment. This was highlighted in a small way today with both members and staff taking part in the #lotsofsocks event from @worlddownsyndromeday ! . -Our very first member through the door this morning at 06:00 took part, training in odd socks. No words or photos, just doing it because it’s a nice thing to do ! It’s nice to be nice !

06:45 Wednesday morning PowerLIFT class @liftgymsuk 🏋️‍♀️ ! . -As much as I love putting people through their paces in our HIIT & Circuit classes, this slower paced class gives you the opportunity to improve your lifting techniques as well as lifting heavier, whilst receiving coaching points and support throughout ! . I was feeling super tired this morning, but the team certainly were not with lots of hard work put in, quality and hugely improved technique, as well as some ne...w PBS ! . -Well done to @kyle_dunn for hitting some big numbers and following the session plan perfectly (sets/reps/rest). Big shout out to @kieranscott7 making huge improvements on both his squat and deadlift technique, and @amcgrattan for applying some small changes to his deadlifts! Finally, @olive360 and @sassy_scottish_lassie for setting new PBs as well! Thanks @lindsaybruce for all the help each week! @ LIFT Gyms UK

She may be my biggest critic of my morning classes, she may regularly complain about the music selection, she may sometimes patch us last minute (usually with a solid excuse), she may occasionally enjoy a wee gossip now and again, and she may sometimes chat a load of shite (good shite)...BUT this is 💯 % the best social media fitness related post I’ve seen in a long time!
