Don't like this shop. They are expensive and the staff don't help you much unless they think your going to spend a lot of money with them.

Ordered a puncture repair kit online as the store didn't have much in stock. Not only did it arrive a week later than estimated but, having now opened the packaging, I've found that the seal was broken and an essential item in the kit is missing. Can't really fix a puncture without the glue! Going elsewhere in future.

Very poor experience every time I go to this shop. Never again. 3 times I've walked into the store at Fountain Bridge in Edinburgh and been ignored or spoken to rudely.
The first time was to buy a bike - ignored. £1,500 sale loss.
Second time a helmet and clothing - ignored / rude. £250 sale loss.
The last time, served by someone who made it very clear they felt I was wasting their time. They took me to the section where the item was I wanted, ripped it off the hook, threw it at me and walked away - bizarre behaviour.
The seem to have mastered how to make customers feel they're an inconvenience.
Good luck Evans , you'll need it.

Went in to collect my Brooks saddle today. It was scheduled to arrive at 3pm yesterday but delays can't be helped sometimes. So this afternoon, I rang up to see if it had arrived. It had but I hadn't yet received the email confirming it was ready. I asked if I could come in and collect it anyway and was told that was absolutely fine. But the guy who served me at the till kept making snippy comments to the girl he was training about the email, and how customers should wait for the email etc. He even said to me - as I was leaving with the saddle - that I would now have an email telling me it was ready. Weird! Instead of harping on about the email he should have been enthusing about the saddle - which is absolutely amazing! - but he never even mentioned it. I also had questions I wanted to ask regarding the treatment and fitting of the saddle but to be honest, I felt so uncomfortable I couldn't get out of the shop fast enough!

Spent 35 minutes arguing over whether a 7 day old pedal which came flying off at 20mph down the road is a warranty issue or not. Eventually replaced. This is a good place to buy a bike and get fitted etc. but for follow up service, forget it. Just hope nothing breaks.

Nice big shop with decent range and knowledgeable staff. They will price match on anything they sell, so don't be put off by their seemingly high prices. d

Very good place to buy a bike. Staff is knowledgeable and service is relatively quick. Never had any problems.

User

Great helpful service and competitive prices for bike equipment - having shopped around. I purchased a helmet, lock, and set of lights. Definitely check their online store first for discounts. Delivery of out of stock items was as estimated.

User

Very friendly and helpful, both times we went in and the aussy guy remembered us and was super cool.
Bought my bike lock from here, he showed me how to put it on my bike, and enjoyed some banter. Would come back here. Thanks!
