Decent for choice and savings on new bikes.

Staff in shops are friendly but normally useless, some have no bike experience and they seem understaffed when busy. My brother got ignored, walked out and went elsewhere. My girlfriend and I got no help and i had to do the work sizing her on bikes, staff just stood and watched us.

Ive had similar experiences when in by myself but i normally only use Evans now to pick stuff up i bought online.

Absolutely brilliant. Great service. Good cycle advice. Replaced parts and repaired my bike for a good price. Some good banter as well. Definitely will be going back.

Staff just don't seem to care that you walk into the store with money to spend.

Was in a few weeks back, and wanted to look at a new road bike. I'd put aside £800 for the pleasure, which I know isn't much in terms of a good spec, but still, a sale is a sale.

Took me long enough to get assistance, and when I got it I could tell they didn't really care, nor did they have much knowledge of bikes as a technical matter.

I've had better service from Next when I want a shirt.

Told them I wanted to spend around 1000 on a new bike. They just left me look at the bikes by myself. When asked staff couldn't tell me much about the differences between the models. They didn't offer to size a bike for me iether... They were just like... So this is the one you want... Fine, let me just order that in for you... No service at all so I spent my money elsewhere and got a better deal.

If Emily is there, ask for her. She walked me through every stage of buying a bike, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and wasn't pushing the top branded models. Was there for 45mins and came out with an excellent bike and accessories on 0% finance. Loved it! Went along the next day for the Fix-It course with Orlando and it was great to go through all the basic maintenance and emergency maintenance of a bike, and specifically my own bike. Completely recommend going there.

Bought my bike here but lots of things subsequently went wrong with it, poor build quality on an expensive bike. However Evans have been superb at sorting them all out at their expense even now, well past the guarantee period. Friendly, knowledgeable, excellent customer service.

I personally loved this shop,you can browse without hassle the salesperson doesn't hover over you like a lot of other shops I could mention.

I was visiting from the USA and needed to make minor repairs before doing a ride I'd planned for that day, my last day in Glasgow. The staff were friendly and helpful, loaning me tools for free so that I could quickly repair it myself.

I was impressed with their selection of practical accessories, at what seemed to be very fair prices.

Customer service and knowledge at weekend was excellent. Staff took time and helped me a great deal with my purchase. Would definitely recommend, busy shop, but staff will get to you. Great selection to choose from.

Picked out a bike + accessories, just over 400 pounds, guy tells me "you can't take it today as the guy who checks the bikes is finishing now". It was 3:45pm!!! I just said thanks and left. Great eh?
The guy let me leave with £400.00 + in my tail!!!
I mean, who does that?
