Bought car few months ago.having problems with it now.been in and fitter assumed balance needed done charged 40 quid and wasn't that.now trying to get it sorted staff at branch rude and no one knows what other is doing.stay clear.

I will never set foot in that building ever again salesman spent 25min with his boss before coming back to me at the desk said nothing say down and spent 10min on computer before actually trying to find out what I wanted total waste of my time and the loss of a good sale cash

Worst dealership ever! Don't even deserve the 1 star. Had an appointment at 1pm with a salesman and when I went in for it I was ignored by staff, then the man I had the apppointment with was with another customer and gave me no apology or communication to how long he was going to be. Waited 45minutes and I had no communication from any staff, no tea or coffee offered and ended up just walking out. Strongly recommend avoiding this dealerships as others in my family have also had similar experiences.

Booked in to sell my car at this dealership. Was on the phone to them twice the morning of my appointment. When arriving at my appointment I was informed that the guy who deals with the selling your car process was on holiday. I was on the phone twice that morning and this was never mentioned to me! They then proceed with doing a 'rough' evaluation of my car and took the price down by over £300! When I asked why they said for a chip in the front bumper, there is no chip in my bumper at all. They did not apologise once for allowing me to book an appointment and not making me aware the guy wasn't in. Horrible customer service. Total waste of time. Safe to safe I walked out and sold my car elsewhere for a much better deal

Wonderful.... OH and myself went out with purpose of walking out with MY new car.." WHICH I WOULD BE BUYING!!"......we went to "Arnold Clark" and they spoke to my OH the whole time!!! Didn't look at me once!!!

Said I what I was looking for. Salesman looked straight at ME and asked what I was looking for and needed. I walked out with papers signed. New car to be collected. I didn't even need a test drive as I felt so confident with the car purchased. THANK YOU for MY CAR!!!!!

Not one to usually post reviews but having been wary of using a main dealer I was proved wrong by the level of service I received. They initially diagnosed a fault in my alternator which I got replaced (using a Ford original) by another local garage. This didn't fix the fault and I thought the fault had been mis-diagnosed. Evans Halshaw took my car in and tried various things over 2 1/2 days but eventually replaced the alternator again. Turns out the one fitted by the other garage was faulty... Evans Halshaw took a copy of my receipt from the other garage, did a parts reclaim and didn't charge me anything for the work they did. Oh, and they gave me a free courtesy car after the first day. Extremely pleased and grateful for all they did - can't recommend highly enough! Sometimes it's worth paying the slightly higher dealership prices.

Got my car at a great price. 2 months on the starter motor packed in and Evans Halshaw fixed it with no quibbling, even made a big effort to get it done really quickly before the holiday weekend. Well done.

Buying the car was ok.... just ok.... after service was by far the worst I have EVER experienced, service history missing and service light not re set... simple fix you would think... if anyone ever bothered to call back. Within 48 hours I was informed of a poor paint repair down the length of the drivers side.... fortunately I am aware of the consumer rights act, more so than the general manager and sales manager of the branch who essentially tried to stitch me up. I would not go back if my life depended on it. I don't think I have been graced with a single call back to this day. If there was an option for 0

Went into this dealership looking for a ford edge . A young salesman called craig watt came out to talk to us told him we were intrested in the car sat down started to negotiate a deal got what we wanted for our trade in signed pretty much there and then . The car was bought on the Friday and picked up on the Tuesday no hassle no feeling of being ripped off ! This is by far the most stress free experience purchasing of a car we've had and we've bought and sold a lot of cars over the years would highly recommend this dealership for a new ford
