Came to potentially sell my car - process should have taken 40 minutes I was still there two hours later and left.

However what was shocking was the unprofessionalism of Some of the staff. I honestly felt like I'd walked into the Barras market. Even Poundland is more professional,

Sat at a desk I listened to some really grumpy staff further shocked when one started talking about what their porn star names should be. I honestly can't believe the lack of professionalism and quality of this place

In response to your response, I complained to your head office and called the customer relations team who I believe pass on the complaint to your local dealership and the manager never responds - seems like there is a fundamental flaw in your business. No worries.

I was considering buying a Seat Leon Cupra from this place what I have seen on Auto Trader at a very low price for a car with low miles.

They have offered me a very good price for my Focus ST in part ex, but after reading these reviews, I dont think I will go anywhere near it, and from what these reviews say, I highly doubt I will be offered that price when I get there anyway.

I live around 200miles from the dealership, so thank you all for saving me my hard earned money and a long wasted round trip.

To all the people saying they would never buy from a Evans Halshaw dealer, I actually bought my ST from Evans Halshaw Citroen in Doncaster, and I must say theyre fantastic with everything.

Dont let one dealership full of muppets put you off the whole company.

Utter waste of time. 2 hour round trip to view a volvo. Disgracefully presented, scrape/dent on side of car and bumper.I would expect this from a shady 2nd hand dealer not from a supposedly large dealer,I will avoid this company in future

Very friendly staff no hassle they leave you to look around nothing worse if you get pestered with sale staff but the staff and sale team were excellent

Terrible experience. Tried to sell us a car without an up to date service. When we said we would take the car without the service but wanted the money off that it would cost us to service it they said that they "cannot" change the price. They never phoned back on 2 occasions they said they would when we were chasing them up about buying the car. Eventually, 3 days later, they left a message telling us the car had been sold. Other companies would have had the decency to phone a few let us know someone else was interested. Extremely disappointed!!!

Got a phone call from this dealership saying they had the same car as mine (fiesta st) with over £3000 off list new price. He asked how much was left to pay on my current car and how much my monthly payments are and told me that he was adamant he would be able to get me a cheaper deal on the new car on higher purchase. I arranged to make the 30 mile trip through to get things sorted. I must of been there 10 mins as he told me he was looking to match my payments not reduce and it would be on pcp not hire purchase. This place is full of muppets that waste your time. As the rest of the reviews say, avoid going here.

Not a great experience at all. As a dealership they do things arse for elbow. It took almost 3 hours from getting in to arrange test drive and valuation of the car I was trading in. Had they told me the pittance they were going to offer it could have saved me and the poor overworked and underpaid salesman a wasted afternoon. Paraphrase of his words not mine. And a test drive? To go to petrol station to put fuel in and back to dealership? Who can tell a cars capabilities in that time when can't even get out of 3rd gear. Will never even attempt to deal with this mob again.

Bought my new ka+ in October last year a couple of days later notice a problem with rubber seal around drivers door window. I was told that it would be covered by warranty and the would order a new part. That was 6 months ago and I am still waiting.
THE sales team are excellent but the service team need to pull their socks up, terrible customer service. After being a customer for over 10 years I feel very let down and will think twice about getting a new car from Evans in the future.

This is the first time I have used Evans Halshaw in quite a few years, due to a closer Ford dealership opening up nearer my work; I have to say to say they gave me great service then and went above and beyond their duty this time round and I have no hesitation in genuinely giving them 5 stars. I have always owned Fords and had experienced dealerships up and down the country and many do not warrant the Ford name. Well done to Evans Halshaw because not only did they gain my business from a close competitor they will keep me as a loyal customer once again.
