4* only relates to parts department. The rest, I wouldn't bother with. I'll never buy another car from Evans Halshaw or deal with their very rude service department.

We bought our car from here and had good service. This visit was to have a check done, not a very pleasant person on the desk, but they're not all like that
However eventually the problem was solved in 5mins.

I was very interested in a car and was ready to put down a deposit. Saw the reviews were bad and thought surely not that bad, so I phoned them and the salesperson I spoke to wasn't helpful and was not polite. The offer made was reasonable with no negotiation but the manner it was discussed has put me off dealing with their company. Maybe he was just having a bad day...

I was looking for a 4x4 to tow my horse trailer. I saw a suitable car on Evans Halshaw website via Autotrader that I was interested in so I contacted them direct and arranged a test drive for the following day. ( The vehicle was displayed on the EH website and Autotrader with a tow bar fitted). As the car was a used car I arranged for a mechanic to come with me when I went to view the car the following day. When we arrived at the dealership at the agreed time I was very disappointed to see that the car did not in fact have a tow bar fitted. The car also was buried at the back of numerous other cars with no access without moving a good number of vehicles. The sales advisor also mentioned that the car also had a flat battery so couldn't be started or driven as the battery was dead. My mechanic also noticed that the rear discs and front discs on the car were corroded and looked seized. The sales agent said all the tow bars are taken off and scrapped, if you want a tow bar fitted you will need to pay extra. This is the first time I have used Evans Halsaw and I can say without a doubt that you won't see me again. I have used numberous car dealerships in the past, VW, Toyota, Arnold Clark. In comparison Evans Halshaw comes no where near the service I would expect. The whole disappointing experience was a complete waste of my time and money.

Bought a new car from Evanshalshaw in Motherwell and the service I received from my salesman Kenny was first class. Was surprised to get the car a quickly as I did and was kept informed from start to finish.

If your thinking about buying a new Ford car I would highly recommend them and will definitely be back to purchase my next car there

The worst customer service I have experienced in a car sales place. Staff are rude and unhelpful, was ready to buy a car even paid a deposit but decided against as the level of service was so poor it made me wonder how bad their after sales would be. First and last time I will ever consider this company.
