terrible company to deal with, will not be returning. Quick enough to take the money from you for your car but not willing to deal with any complaints or so on afterwards

Asked over the phone if there were any major scratches or dents on a used car I was interested in, as I explained it was a 6 hour round trip to look at it. Was told over the phone that the used cars they sold were too good to send to auction. When I got there, the car was a total wreck. EVERY panel was scratched, and there was a small dent in the rear bumper where it had been reversed into something. I can see why they took pictures from a far. Absolute waste of time, and petrol. Saw and bought another car at a different Evans Halshaw branch nearer to home, explained what had happened. We were informed by that branch that the car should of been sent to auction! AVOID this branch of Evans halshaw!

Used the 'sell your car' service for this first time and was not disappointed. I was sceptical before using this service but the man who dealt with us was very helpful, informative and professional throughout. We were offered a very good price for our car, far exceeding other dealers and about £1200 more than we buy any car. The car we sold was advertised 25% more than we sold it but given that the car needed a couple of new alloys/refurb alloys, bad scratches dealt with, an MOT, a few bad dents, I don't think that was a bad sale of my behalf. I would use this service with EH Renault again. The money was in my account within the 5 days and the whole process was hassle free.

Took a chance on a Dacia Sandero, car exceeded my expectations and buying was simple with no unwanted sales pushes, just asked what I was after and sorted it out. Much better than some dealerships I've been to.

Sucked in by the ' we pay more than we buy any car' offer. They do, but by the smallest amount they can possibly get away with. Whatever they value your car at is meaningless, the guy we spoke to said they offer about £1000 less than the car is worth. Only worth selling if you're desperate, they will not move at all on the offer they give and when you've had a 70 mile round trip it is a tad disappointing when the figure you are offered is nothing close to the headline figure. There is a reason why this company has such a woefully low rating.
