Something Borrowed Events is a creative business which specialises in transforming any room for any occasion. We aim to transform your event venue and turn it into exactly what you wish for.
We are a family run business and are committed to giving you the best service possible. We are twin sisters- Zoe has forged a great career in the chocolate and pastry industry, working alongside UK chocolate master Ruth Hinks. Her creativity and her eye for detail is second-to-none. Kayleigh studied at Edinburgh Napier University and graduated with an Honours Degree in Events Management and HRM.
Working as a great team we will be with you every step of the way in the planning and design of your perfect event. We want to make your event as stress free and enjoyable as possible.
We have chair covers, chair sashes, table runners, table cloths, centrepieces, candelabra's, fairy light backdrops and much more for hire.
We cover the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Lothians, Lanarkshire and Glasgow. We are based in Peebles within the Scottish Borders.

These girls are super talented!! They turned an already amazing ballroom into the perfect wedding setting for my wedding at Cornhill Castle last week!! An amazing eye for detail, with nothing ever too much to ask for, they really know their business and what suits a venue!! Thank u so so much for the lovely centrepieces, chair sashes, love letters and the candy cart which went down a treat � u girls are the best, thank u for all ur help in making our venue just perfect!! Xxxx
The girls decorated our reception hall, they done a wonderful job, we were so happy with the result everything looked so good. Definitely recommend their services. Thanks again ladies xx
Something borrowed are simply talented ladies. They made the adam room in the tontine hotel where we had our meal/evening recepetion look fabulous. Lewis and I Was delighted with zoes work. Would highly recommend the girls. Thanks again for bring part of our wedding day 17/11/2017 xx
Kayleigh and Zoe decorated our wedding room this weekend at Peebles hydro! Wow!!! It looked phenomenal. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful it looked. We were so pleased with everything. Thanks to the team for contributing to us having the most amazing day! Mr and Mrs Rutherford xx
Kayleigh and Zoe are brill! The setting for our wedding was amazing and it was all down to Something Borrowed! They have a huge amount of options for every type of wedding! They handled everything from start to finish and allowed us to have a very relaxed happy lead up to the wedding! Can not recommend Something Borrowed highly enough! � xxxx
I can't recommend the girls at Something Borrowed Events enough. Not only have I worked on a number of weddings that they have dressed but they also dressed my best friends wedding venue which was simply beautiful! They go out their way to make sure the bride/grooms dream wedding vision becomes a reality!
Huge effort from Kayleigh and Zoe and the band of merry men saw the plain high ceilinged hall for our reception transformed into a mini marquee for the evening....it looked amazing and we could not have been happier. Your attention to detail was spot on and nothing was too much trouble!! We hope your business continues to grow as I am sure it will!!

Couldn’t recommend the girls at something borrowed enough. They supplied us with roof swagging, lace tables covers & an amazing sweetie cart for our wedding and all of it was perfect. The girls are really easy to deal with too. Highly recommended � thank you again!
Carl and I can't thank you enough for decorating for our wedding! Everything looked amazing, nothing was a problem for you two and even my last minute change of plans was done without any hesitation or bother at all!! Everyone loved the chair sashes and they fit in with or theme perfectly!
