Events Project

Events Project is a voluntary organisation that partners together charities with business events to deliver societal impact through the power of meeting face to face. A core focus of the Events Project is to support efforts to eradicate homelessness in our society. Homelessness is growing in many parts of the world, occurs in all nations, and has severe negative impacts on individuals and communities. The United Nations Human Settlements Program estimates that 1. 6 billion people live in inadequate housing, and the best data suggest that more than 100 million people have no accommodation. Rough sleeping is the most visible type of homelessness, but it is just the tip of the iceberg of its forms. Through no fault of their own, many people live in temporary or unsuitable accommodations, do sofa surfing, or are trapped in a cycle of moving from place to place. The business events community has an opportunity to make a real contribution to helping those who do or have experienced homelessness and other global challenges.
