As the 2nd Line Engineer you will be:
• Resolving technical tickets and mentoring 1st Line engineers.... • Undertaking second line diagnosis and investigation of technical issues, to address issues or adverse trends • Writing OIR and root cause reports. • Actively communicating status of issues/events and tracking actions to ensure appropriate audit trail is in place • Looking for an opportunity to specialize in Networking, Monitoring and SQL
As the 2nd Line Engineer you should have:
• The ability to work within a shift or on call 24/7 environment • Minimum 1 year of support experience in a highly pressurised ‘real time’ mission critical environment. • Experience of Windows Server, web servers, and a basic knowledge of .Net and SQL • Proven track record working with customer support teams, and development • Experience of virtualisation, security or SAN
