⚠️⚠️⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SATURDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER⚠️⚠️⚠️
The Failford Inn will be closed this coming Saturday for a private event, we apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
Additionally we will have limited tables available on Sunday the 2nd September. Any customers planning on visiting we would highly recommend giving us a call to book a table.

Wow! What a place honestly.. wonderful food and brilliant staff...I have to be honest I was truly gutted I couldn't fit a pudding in as they also looked ace.



The owners have invested some serious money in renovating the pub and the garden area at the rear is just stunning in overlooking a river in a wooded valley.



I was made to feel welcome and the staff are just ace. Professional but friendly, there but not there if you know what I mean. You want something and they are there you don't and your not troubled.



So impressed and cannot recommend this establishment enough.



Just brilliant and thank you so much..



PS Fillet steak is local, 22 days matured and amazing.

Would just like to thank Greg and Sarah and the rest of the team who did such a wonderful job hosting my wedding to Janet Kane on 14th July 2018. Everyone involved made the whole day very special and relaxed. It's the perfect setting for an intimate event such as birthdays, anniversaries and now weddings. Food was amazing and as one one of our guests commented 'The food was f@#$ing amazing!'.

What better way to spend the day? Lovely dog walk followed by super meal in cosy, dog friendly pub beside a fire. Hearty portions of great home made food, good chat and service. Excellent

Went here tonight with my kids and grandkids meal was fab even people in table next to us were saying how good meal was and how much the wee place has changed complements to the chef and staff .

We love this wee place...last time we were there we sat in the beer garden with our 2 dogs before having our meal inside...will be frequent visitors for sure...always made very welcome, 5 ☆s

Was here for Lunch today and food was fantastic! I had goats cheese with Parma ham to start and my partner had chicken strips! Both starters delicious and beautiful presented, I had the failford inn fillet steak, it was stuffed with cream cheese and apple and it came with a port sauce! Amazing, flavours work deliciously together, steak was cooked perfectly! My partner had the chicken curry and that was delicious too! We had no room for pudding! Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you, Highly recommend this fantastic was pub, sits in lovely surroundings, will definitely be back �

Thanks to Greg and his Mrs for our meal tonight was outstanding steak was stunning knife went through it like butter highly recommended......

Popped in for a drink and a look at the menu with my other half on Sunday, atmosphere was brilliant, staff so friendly and welcome. We decided to drop car off and come back for some dinner, we were not disappointed, good quality food and huge portions. Will definitely be back!

My husband & I had a lovely meal to celebrate our anniversary,in the bar area (we had our 2 dogs with us)

Our steak & Haggis burger were AWESOME !

Lovely friendly place, staff were extremely welcoming and the food was superb. Stk Pie delish as were the puddings. Apple Crumble is huge. Will definitely be back and highly recommend Failford. Dog friendly too

Lovely food, friendly staff, great beer garden and the best bit dog friendly! We had a fab dinner this afternoon on our way home from the beach. We will be back.

Lovely country pub with beer garden overlooking a river. Great staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. We really enjoyed it and will be back

Had our first visit to the failford inn tonight loved sitting in the dining room watching the river running by .. Its a good menu something to suit everyone..very reasonably priced child and dog friendly efficient friendly staff . All our food was freshly prepared and delicious and yummy desserts will certainly be back and would recommend it to friends

Had a fantastic family meal here on Saturday. Food was outstanding, service was exceptional.

Food was amazing, staff are so friendly, loved been able to take our furbaby with us, she even got her own little vegetable dish whilst we were having dinner, would highly recommend this place, lovely little bit at the river for the dogs to run around .Can't wait to come back next year.
