Great stay at a great Hotel. NO issue's and great service from staff,will return soon.

Attended my Gran's wake here. Very professional and friendly service throughout. Food and drinks were lovely and the view out to the sea sets a lovely atmosphere.

Stayed here for one night. Lovely hotel. Staff really friendly. Room quite large. One drawback there was no view out of room at all . Breakfast lovely. Would stay here again.

I stayed here in 2002, a beautiful place and certainly a diamond. The staff was exceptional, absolutely lovely people. My wish is to come back and live the good life with this staff. Attentive and most of all, loving. How many guest host hotels can one say about that? I'm American with Scottish roots. Lovely people, wish my family never left. Trust me, I will be back to the Fairfield House. I now have health issues, I know they'll look after me. I love this place, I love Ayr! Now, 15 years later, I want to come back to Ayr and certainly the Fairfield. My health is poor, I know they'll take the best of care of me. My wish is to die on Scottish soil, land of my ancestors. I know my family in California may think that a bit morbid, my dream is Scottish pipers piping my way to my final resting place. Cremate me, scatter my ashes over Scotland and Northern Ireland. That's where our people came from. You hushed me, never gave me a listen. Now, I leave you with our legacy. Thank you, Fairfield House for letting me leave this note. And I shall return to your beautiful, warm hotel. I loved it then, I know I'll love it now.You treat your guests with the utmost respect and Scottish humour! "You want me to Hoover your room" when obviously the vacuum is not a "Hoover." Aye, no matter, just clean up the crumbs of whatever sweet I indulged myself with I adore your housekeeping staff.

Location is perfect, Not to far from my home but I love the atmosphere and environment. I have stayed at Fairfield on 3 occasions and all the rooms are of a high standered, good for a little get away from the routine of normal life. We all need a break here and there and the staff know that so they take a load of your mind as you relax.
