FBC’s Burns Supper 2020 was a sold out affair and enjoyed some sparkling performances from Angus Middleton, Ronnie McNeill, Roddy McGinty, Lesley Richardson, Gordon Middleton, Allie Austin and Bobby McCallum.........Not forgetting our very own Joan Rae, Judith McNaught, Jim Munro and President John Gibson.

A fitness class is available at 10.30am each Friday in the Clubhouse, for one hour. All members (Ladies & Gents) are invited to come along and join in. Wilma is ready to put you through your paces.

FBC Panto - Part 2

A big thank you to The Dressing Room from Saltcoats for providing the clothes for our Fashion Show, and for Jennifer for compering the evening. Don’t our lady members look fab.

The stage is going up and the edges are going down...........oh yes they are!

Our volunteer members are doing a great job on the re-levelling and finishing works to the green edges. Two sides all but completed already.

8th November (Friday) Cheese & Wine Fashion Show. £5.00 a ticket Raffle donations welcomed. 7.30 start.
... 23rd November (Saturday) Presentation of Prizes. Ticket £12.00. Dress: Casual. List on board for meal choice Raffle donations welcomed. Les Ward and guests with a bit of magic. Disco after presentations.
27th, 28th, 29th, 30th Nov Panto…oh yes it is!!!!
3rd December (Tuesday) Bus trip to Christmas Markets in Edinburgh.Prosecco afternoon tea at the Old Waverley Hotel. £20.00 for tea and £12.00 for cost of bus.
7th December (Saturday) Club Christmas Party. Mark Findlay entertaining Special Guest: Raised from the dead “ELVIS” Ticket Price: £5.00 . Draws for the Christmas Hampers.
13th December (Friday) The Largs Singers. Ticket notice will be on noticeboard soon. Donations on the night.
Judith will be at the club this Tuesday evening 22nd Octoberfrom 7.00pm - 9.00pm for any of the performers wishing some practice with their songs.

This November Fairlie Bowling Club is performing a Panto " Robin Hood and the Fairlie Merry Men". There are still a some tickets available Wednesday 27th November 22 tickets, Friday 29th November 6 tickets, Saturday 30th November 16 tickets. The price for each ticket is £8 and are available on first come first serve basis. The FBC outdoor season came to an end with Closing Day, yesterday, A very healthy turn out and some great fun. George Grant had his best day of the season winning the highest up rink, the year-long vintage whisky bottle raffle and the bonus ball! Well done to all in delivering a great day, especially to our Lady President Moira Alexander and Gents President John Gibson.

Darkness had fallen before the Drawn Mixed Pairs final was completed but the 2019 winners were Wilma Rodger and Scott McGill, overcoming Mags McNeill and Richard Lewis Jnr. A small, but enthusiastic band of members stayed on for the Silent Disco

FBC Drawn Mixed Pairs. There are 32 players entered to play this afternoon, which is the ideal number. (No call-offs, please). Please be at the club for 1pm to witness the draw. Play starts, sharp, at 1.30pm. Please note, this is an official club competition, so greys and whites should be worn.
