Fairmont St Andrews

Fairmont St Andrews Torrance Course are a great course. Back9 has some nice seaside views. Excellent conditions and good selection in the pro shop.

Went for drinks and dinner at the Italian restaurant. Drinks were a little slow to arrive but once we got to the restaurant the service was exceptional. Food was lovely all around and the lobby is magnificent.

I had a sea facing room so had a great view. The food was delicious and the room really comfortable with a luxurious ensuite. Best if all, the rooms have a power socket right next to the bed so you can actually charge your phone and have it close at night!

Beautiful amazing grounds and hotel. Loads of places to photograph, inside and out. Great experiences from what the bride said to us in the morning, other than the hotel was so busy and double booked the main bridal suit. The bride was not greatly pleased by this but the hotel offered free drink and food plus two extra nights in the hotel plus a free night whenever they want in the king suit. Overall a great Venue for a wedding.

Staff is helpful but the location of the hotel is far away from city center. They have shuttles to the city but the last one is at 16:30. So if you want to go to dinner in St Andrews you have to go back by taxi. Rooms are well designed but i would expect the rooms to be better decorated and larger. The location of the hotel is windy and the reel feel temperature is at least 5 degrees less than St Andrews. They have one Italian and grill bar restaurant and prices are expensive. As it is far away from St Andrews you have no choice but to eat in either restaurants. On the other hand The view is very nice. And hotel has a golf course.

Fantastic time at the Savoy Afternoon tea experience. Very easy to book via email with great communication. Excellent layout and presentation. Food was beautiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. My husband and I had taken our mothers on mothers day. The staff were great at including our 2 year old and making her feel like an important part of it too.

Food and staff were top notch. Beds were comfortable, but continuing renovations are needed. Hall carpets were threadbare and the redecorating in some areas is overdue.

Beautiful location. Lovely to see bedrooms with subtle schemes from local designers. Non-golfers would feel most at home here with stunning walks, extensive choice of holistic spa treatments, Italian restaurant and plenty of seating in relaxing surroundings for a light afternoon tea.
