Falkland Palace & Garden
Reviews
I went here on my middle sons school trip and had an amazing time...we got a wee idea of life in Mary Queen of Scots time and we were also lucky 2 have some people from the National Trust dress up for us and explain and answer questions about this place and lifestyle... The gardens are absolutely stunning and we also got to play tennis on the oldest tennis court in Scotland which is within the castle...would definitely come back....
Lovely village to visit palace and gardens worth a visit but at £12.50 per adult bit pricey
Beautiful setting, lovely environment. Well worth a visit. Staff very informative dressed in period costumes. Great day out
Beautiful place. Refurbished to the way it should be. Guides very knowledgeable and helpful. Accurate in description of the various rooms. Definitely worth a visit.
Scenery out of the world. Both hills clearly visable and picturesque. Relaxin walks round the grounds with every turn taken, perfect scenery awaits you
Well set up. A very enjoyable day although would have liked a cafe on site. Plenty nearby but would have been nice to sit in the gardens with a wee cup of tea and cake.
Super interesting! Really enjoyed it. Lots of great interactive parts in the bakehouse area for kids and adults too!
Be warned parking for it is tricky, nothing against the palace though!
Huge gardens. Has exhibit to honor the home of Royal Tennis. The palace and gardens were nice.
0/10 no princess to save from the castle. tried to step on the mushrooms and got reprimanded by guards. they hated my green hat and italian accent and told me being a plumber is a waste of oxygen. only giving two stars because the boba tea was on par with the boba I've received in backstreet allies.
Lovely Palace with gardens. Could do with having its info sheets updated but is a good place to visit.
After reading so many great opinions about the castle I expect something spectacular. There were only few rooms in the castle to see and not so spectacular garden as I thought. The lady who sells the tickets was very unfriendly. The good point (one start more) is that there were guides and I could listen some stories about the castle.
