Families In Trauma

A non-profit online service designed to support families in trauma through using real experiences recorded through video or audio. We also offer online support courses for when the doors may be shut elsewhere.

Families in Trauma is a web based service split into two parts. One section of the website is for families who are struggling to find information about trauma and also need to find others who have undergone similar situations. Many families will be interviewed either on camera or through audio technology and these experiences will be shared on our website. The second part to the website is for others who try to support others in the field of trauma e. g. social services, police, doctors, psychiatrists, the judiciary etc. Training packs will be offered to supplement the services already on offer - but will be taken from the viewpoint of the family who have suffered the trauma - their own experiences will be the basis for the training!
