We went on last Thursday as it was so fabulous to meet wonderful couple and kids really enjoyed themselves on tour. Nice views and nice to stand near highland cows.

From my daughter Lucy - I loved seeing the dogs and the cows, highland cows , sheep-lambs but most of all I LOVED the horses. A Shetland called dolly a COB call sammy and ruby. Xxx

This was THE highlight of our NC500 trip so far. After seeing sheep dotted here and there and cows from afar, we not only stayed on the farm’s Airbnb caravan, but had the private buggy tour to get up close and personal with sheep, lambs, cows, calves, some deer, rabbits, and the famous shaggy-haired highland cows! The views from the hill above the farm are spectacular and the drive up in the buggy is a fun adventure. We held lambs a few hours old and I even fed a milk bottle to one. Juanella and Willie went out of their way to show us round and answer all the questions we could think of. It was truly worth it and I’d heartily recommend planning in a stop for the tour. Thank you!

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. We took our 4 and 7 year old and for them some of it felt like a rollercoaster ride (in a good way!) Willie was just brilliant, we learnt lots about farming and some of the history of the land. Our kids were delighted to meet the cows (where as I preferred to sit in the buggy for that bit!), the horses and my little boy loved playing with the "soft and fluffy" sheep dogs. A great morning out 😀😀

My husband and I read a review on a Scottish tourist page and decided to book this on a whim. We loved every minute. A true Scottish safari; the buggy was great fun, the tour very informative, the highland coos a delight and the home baking at the end just fabulous. True Scottish hospitality at its best

Lovely afternoon with Willie and Juanella on the Kirkton Farm Buggy Tour. Great to got off the high roads and see what life and farming is like about as after north on the mainland as you can get.

Made to feel very welcome - arrived as strangers, left as friends.

Well worth a visit.

By far one of the best things we’ve done on the NC500. Willie is a fountain of knowledge & we could have listened to him all day. The views were amazing, so much land history & obviously the animals were awesome! Our kids didn’t want to leave! Definitely worth every penny! I’d do it every day just to see the wild life!!!

Don’t forget to purchase the marmalade before you leave, it’s a belter!!!
