Suns out at Faskally!

Well that's the end of another season! We have a busy winter ahead, with big improvements for the 2017 season. Thank you very much for another great year and look forward to seeing you all in the new year!

It was a full house for our race night!! Thanks to all those who came out to support the girls fundraise for their international competition. Over £1,300 was taken on the night!! This includes the kind sponsorship from local businesses. Thanks to Nae Limits, cafe Calluna, Hetties Tea Room and The Tipsy Tart, The Scotch Corner, The Plaice to Be, The Hardware Centre and the Co-op. Also all those that donated to the raffle! A good night was had by all!!

Beths selling cakes today outside the shop! All proceeds going to her sport (equestrian Vaulting) come and see her! She's selling raffle tickets too!

A great turn out for our Falconry display tonight. You can see the display every Monday night during the school holidays.

Swimming pool and games room great for the kidskin and great walk around the area.

This is one of our most favourite places to visit in Scotland. We (family of 5) love it! The site is clean, well run and has everything you need. The staff are friendly and attentive. With more than 10 visits and never disappointed. It’s lovely to see the site continually being upgraded: the toilet/shower block last year and the swimming pool changing rooms/reception area this year - it’s looking fab! The shop has everything you need and the restaurant/bar and games room are really handy if you’re not up for venturing out of the site. However, Pitlochry is a stones throw if you’re after something different. We were here at the weekend and cannot wait to go back.

Lovely place to work in! Great team, everybody so friendly and helpful, some really nice and chatty costumers! We loved the time we spent the rest. I'm sure we'll miss it! See you soon guys! Hugs***

I have came to this park for a long time now. I have loved every minute of my stays. Everything on site including staff are 5star. I have been seasonal, monthly, weekly. At the moment I am here for 3 months. I am about to see about another seasonal for 2019. Ian Hay is a very accommodating person to speak to and will go at lengths to help you out.

Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews, those who haven’t liked it should have booked a holiday in Dubai ...

Faskally is the best campsite in Scotland, and after 12 years of caravaning here, and the last 3 years in tents, yes I’m back and here right now, I have never had anything to doubt about the place.

Occasionally mistakes do happen with any running business, but the staff here have regulations to abide by for the for the safety and comfort of the people that camp here, and will bend over backwards to help in any way they possibly can.

A real friendly place to be, and garaunteed just about everybody you meet here will have been here before, and they keep on coming back, like myself for these very reasons.

Come and enjoy the experience, I bet you will be back ... 😜

Canny beat it for clean excellent facilities reasonably priced shop but over priced bar.....who needs a bar when you've brought your own ���

Braw family run site with helpful and chatty staff.

Great location in a valley surrounded by hills and trees with only a short walk down to the river..

Good pub grub in the restaurant..

Swimming pool is run on ticket sales so never gets overcrowded..

Ask for a pitch away from the trees if you dinny like midges..

Good toilet and shower blocks..

Nice wee park for the bairns..

Good shop on site with a well stocked booze section with local distilleries getting a place on the shelves..

The local gin was lovely..

Amazing caravan park, very family friendly with helpful approachable staff, a well stocked shop and a fun play park. The swimming pool is a good size with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is a bar/restaurant with a few arcade amusements. There are a few great walks close by and the river is a great spot to relax. We have been many times and will continue to make our annual trips to Faskally. We wouldn’t go to any other caravan park, for us it’s the best!

Have been coming here for over 25 years. I hope we can continue to visit for the next 25 years.

Stayed here 2nights lovely site.but pitches not well signed. Too close to other people.toilet and shower block clean but could do with opening Windows or door as very stuffy. Great dog walks .

Spent two nights here in a motorhome with the grandchildren. Play park for them ideal. We used the pool we didn't realise you had to buy the ticket at the shop but once sorted all fine, you need to book a slot for 1.5 hours. Lovely pool, facilities clean and well looked after. We used the spa and the sauna. The man at the pool was very friendly and helpful as was any other member of staff that we met. Toilet/shower block really good, clean and warm. There were restaurant facilities but we didn't manage to use them this trip. Lovely walk by river - also had dog with us. Dog walking facilities and doggy bin all available. Grandkids and dog had a ball. Would visit again.

Haven't been to Faskally since we camped around 10 years ago. We visited in our motorhome with two dogs. Pitch we were allocated was great next to the shop/reception area, good walks for the dogs and close enough to the toilet block. I found the showers massive with plenty hot water and a large changing area! Lovely and clean, the whole park was spotless. Food in the restaurant was pretty good although very slightly over priced in my opinion. We booked a taxi to take us into Pitlochry for a few hours this was £5 which you can't grumble if you fancy having a couple of drinks. Great weekend and will be booking another night away to Faskally soon 😊

Bad points pitches not marked out so we ended up with only 3/4 of the intended pitch and nearly no way of getting our car out. The ignorance of some campers bewilders me but surely this should be policed?



Right beside the main road and rail. At times I thought we had an HGV going into the tent. Not a very level pitch.



Pay for wifi ....... wow! And absolutely packed out small pitches felt like camping on the high street.



Would I recommend? Yes. The good out weighs the bad. We will be back guaranteed.

Excellent site, family friendly only let down was the restaurant, meals all served at the wrong time e.g. 14 of us went for a meal 12 of us were served and the the other 2 waited over an hour and had to ask where their meal was then when it was brought out it was wrong and had to be taken back, apparently the training night the staff were having maybe should have been done at a quieter time of day, the manager who attempted to fix the problem pretty much blamed us because of when the orders were taken and was quite rude, would definitely use the site again but definitely not the restaurant.

Beautiful site to stay at lovely location, could only give it two stars due to the restaurant. 14 of us came in for a meal, after 80 mins only 12 of us had eaten! Eventually got the last two meals after everyone had finished and the order was wrong! Took it back and changed it, sent the manager on duty out to speak to the group who was very unhelpful! Not enough staff on duty, problems with ordering, mixing up orders, food was nothing exciting for the cost. Will visit the site again but will not be using the restaurant ever again. Stayed here a few years ago and had exactly the same problems in the restaurant! Needing to sort it out guys, it's the only thing letting down an otherwise great campsite!

well on the 2nd june we went and spread my wifes grandads ashes and arrived at this site to be told there was no space eventually then once my wifes brother arrived he had went in to which the man who run the campsite said yes but if you are with the ladie out side then no spaces for you to which the young boy said he would give us pitches later on in the day that same man from us arriving decided to approach my wife because she had a bbq cooki ng outside in the open next door to a wash basin and said first impressions were right on you now your only staying tonight and your out he was rude had my wife in tears and kids then asked us to the office he was sorry and should never have spoken to her the way he did juat he had a stressful day and decided he would pick on a young women who has just scattered her grandads ashes am affraid its a no go again to this location young guy and ladie there were really nice.

Never be back , going for over 20 years since I was a child as a family , not been last 2 years and my autistic son wanted to go this summer. Being told the first night to be quiet when it wasn't even late however we were up all night due to other people in tents! then again warned in the club at 6pm next night when they arrived to play a game of pool and play a few games ..that it would be their last night if their was a repeat! Nothing onsite apart from a swimming pool , owner isn't approachable at all! Wanted to come home on tuesday but didnt want to spoil the trip for my son!! Also electrics wasnt working for a day. Definitely will not recommend to anyone again , my 7 year old son said the man was rude. Maybe a bad day ?but no need to approach when my son was present and act like he did when they were doing nothing!
