Festival Apartments (Permanently Closed)

Avoid at all costs. Con artist

I strongly advise against staying in these apartments. We arranged to stay here in March-2014 and the apartments were treble booked. All of our Stag group had to find alternative accommodation with some people only getting a place to stay at 1am on the Friday night. When we arrived there was an irate hen party already at the apartments and they said we were the second stag party to arrive.
We still have not received our €400 deposit back and are considering a small claims court application.

We recently stayed in an apartment on Grove Street for the weekend for my friend's Hens Do and were really happy with the accommodation.

There was lots of space for all of us (17 in total) and the flat was clean, as were the linen and towels. There is a living room with a great bar set-up (we had a bar tender come in and show us how to make cocktails - highly recommended). And there are plenty of bathrooms, loos and mirrors for all the girls to get ready!

The kitchen is set up for 'mass' catering. We were able to put in an order with Tesco to arrive on Friday evening that set us up with all the basics (and booze) for the times when we weren't going to be eating-out. This was hugely convenient and much more cost-effective than trying to organise 17 people to eating out for every meal.

Its location was really good - its about a 20 minute walk from the centre of town - or less than £10 in a taxi if you're in heels! There is a small Tesco and Coopertive nearby for anything you might need which proved handy when we ran out of wine.

Overall, the set-up they have is great for Hen Parties and its good value for money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This apartment (7B Maitland Street)is far from luxury,more like student digs. Was here for a hen weekend in September 2011. The apartment was meant to sleep 22 but fortunately it wasn't full as 1 bedroom could not be used as 1 bed tipped a 45 degree angle due to a broken base and the other stunk strongly of fish/urine. Very unpleasant. A mouse was also seen in the living area. The owner was horrible too. Would never use this website again.
