Fin Deep Marine Description
From an initial start providing RYA SRC courses and freelance powerboat instruction, FDM is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association for shorebased theory courses and radar instruction. In addition FDM is able to offer, bespoke and one–to-one training for powerboat, motor cruiser and workboat owners. In particular, we are very experienced in waterjet drives and are happy to carry out instruction in this area.
Our commercial skippering experience covers outboard, outdrive and waterjet RIBs to 14m LOA and twin screw cruisers and twin / triple jet workboats to 24m LOA. This experience covers vessel deliveries, commercial fishing, maritime security, marine Search and Rescue, offshore wind energy and commercial workboat for oil and offshore construction.
Our consultancy experience includes providing logistical support, crewing, advice on coding of vessels and marine equipment selection. In addition we have worked on offshore safety plans for oil and gas and renewable energy projects including competency based training and assessment.
