When you move in take pictures and get them to put EVERYTHING in writing. I thought I had been smart and noted most issues when we moved in along with pictures however even though the flat was NOT DEEP CLEANED before we moved in yet I cleaned when I moved in and out our deposit still had cash deducted. They are clearly encouraged to do their best to make some sort of reduction on the deposit they give back to people. I highly recommend that you just avoid this agency all together. I am extremely disappointed with them. I stand firmly by the fact that we left our property in a better state than when we moved in.

It seems I am not the only one who has had a negative experienced with this company! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE ! the woman Leanne who deals with the maintenance doesn't know her arse from her elbow. Absolutely wired to the moon. Says one thing does another. It baffles me why this company employ people who don't have two brain cells to rub together! To any landlords contemplating putting your property in their hands , save your money and go elsewhere!! To any tenants thinking about leasing from this company I would advise you to also to go elsewhere because all they are interested in is taking people's money.
TERRIBLE COMPANY RUN BY DOGHNUTS

Worst one I've ever seen! keep telling me that they will call back but they will never will. It lasting for 2 weeks already and I'v lost a lot of decent places because of extremely poor customer serves. Wouldn't recommend ! think of this: if they take over half a month to give you a call back

As you can tell from numerous complaints..You only deal with Fineholm at your own risk as they don't care about clients and the poor service you. Just spoke to their manager about their poor rating & about my experience with them and she is totally fine with that. Just like several rogue & dishonest agents in Glasgow they ask u to keep huge deposits and keep u waiting for days if not weeks & can come back to you at any time to tell u the property is not available. It took them 2 days to show the property to my spouse and after calling to tell her it's available to rent, they claim it will take more than a week to check the inventory in a 1 bedroom flat and days later they claim the landlord says he's not renting anymore. Full of women with huge egos and it's evident in our interaction their tenants and customers come last and the manager herself she doesn't care about the poor service and their ratings. Deal with them at your own risk!

Took ages to get a viewing and when I did, they showed me a 2 bedroom flat instead of a one?!?! When I called to complain, I didnt get an apology or even an explanation. Instead, i was just informed that the one bedroom place that I originally asked about "isnt a ine bedroom, its actually a studio". Terrible customer service

THIS MUST BE THE WORST LETTING AGENCY EVER. AVOID AVOID THIS AGENCY.
Firstly, as an international student I choose to study in Glasgow because I used to hear that it is nice city and the people are friendly , but I blame myself to came to this city and all this because of the Fineholm Agency , they made me pay for 6 months in advance with double deposited , and when i moved in I found the oven not working and it took 3 weeks to fixed it even though that we told them many times that we have a baby and we need to cook for her , as well as the bed was broken and when we moved out we left the flat very clean and tidy but charged us 180 GP on things were already there . This agency will make the letting experience so stressful.

Fineholm will scam you out of your deposit money. Spent 3 days cleaning up the flat, doing some minor DIY and like to make sure the property was up to standard. Here's the kicker:

The charged £190 for "deep cleaning" of the property because there was dust on the skirting boards and one shelf of one of the cupboards were clean. The cupboard fair enough missed that, but they checked the property weeks after moving out and charged £190 for cleaning dust! They then asked for £95 in repairs, which is a scam because they can't justify it whatsoever. And finally, they kept £30 for "deposit negotiation." Long story short, scammed out of £315 by some rogue landlords.

Never experienced such poor communication and organisation from any company in my life. They swapped property managers multiple times for me, which made moving out a nightmare.

Was then made to continue paying rent, even after moving out, due them being confused at their own paperwork. I tried to get in touch with the manger, who acknowledged that it was there fault but yet I still was being made to pay rent.

Would honestly not get any property in the future under which they supervise. Felt like the company has just taken advantage of me and that no matter who i speak to nothing is getting done.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. If I am allowed to leave zero stars, I would leave zero stars. They will try to rip you off your deposit for cleaning maintenance fees with an initial flat fee of 25. This is ridiculous.
I left the flat in a clean state (swept and clean). They expect it to be in a state of a professional cleaner state e.g. everything bleach out or reverted to as though they were brand new.

Should have read the rest of the reviews before renting through them.

I had rented multiple places throughout London and have no issues at all as a tenant.

I have had a hugely positive experience with Fineholm. I received invaluable advice from Sally Beard prior to purchasing a property to let. She attended at the property on the day the purchase concluded and advised me with regard to furnishing it ready for let. Nothing has been too much trouble for Fineholm. A tenant was found within weeks. Their charges are more than reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This agency has made the whole letting experience so stressful and annoying. It wasted so much of our time and energy. It would first require a holding fee, that was 250 pound. Then I looked it up online, it said the fee was illegal. They set up a date to move in. However, later on it said unfortunately we had to delay that, which made us homeless. Finally, they told us that we could go to sign the contract and move in. We found the sofa was so worn out, broken cupboard, stains on the floor and lots of peelings on the wall. The only response from the agency was that unfortunately we can do nothing about it, we need to ask the landlord. We reflected this problem when we viewed the flat and paid the holding fee, and assumed after the previous tenant moved out, during the one-week cleanness, they would get everything right. Unfortunately, it was not. Moreover, after reading all the reviews, we are getting more and more worried about the deposit. But we are kind of forced to accept all of these, because they made us homeless. I strong advice everyone be careful about this agency!

I would absolutely recommend Fineholm. I used them for finding suitable tenants for a flat I have in Glasgow and have just used them to find tenants in Edinburgh. I was kept informed by Luisa at every stage. She is a fantastic advert for the company.

Application process has been smooth so far. Ellen has been good with communication and letting us know information leading up to signing our lease. Office staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, Annie explained everything well when we signed our documents. Inventory is detailed and included pictures. No issues so far - just got the keys!
