Photography has been a passion for me for many years and living locally here in Midlothian gives me no end of interesting and beautiful surroundings to occupy my time taking photographs. presently I am a member of Midlothian Camera Club and take part in all the going ons at the club.

I was pleased to have won first prize in the Esk Valley Trust photo competition 2015 and highly commended in 2016. In 2015 I also won 1st prize in The Hilton Perthshire Landscape Photo Competition judged by Colin Prior. At times through my work and living in a village, I have documented a lot of community events from which many of my photos have been published in the local and national press and also used for a lot of marketing materials. A few of my images have also been included in The SLR Photography Guide an online magazine for digital photography,

When I'm not taking pictures in the great outdoors - I'm inside taking them of weans, big bairns and dugs!
