About Firbush Outdoor Centre
Firbush is a residential outdoor activity centre, open to everybody, located 80 miles from Edinburgh on the south shore of Loch Tay, near Killin.
Firbush Outdoor Centre Description
The centre is superbly appointed, set in a spectacular location offering a broad programme of activities for students and staff at the University of Edinburgh. Firbush is also available to non-University groups and individuals.
Outdoor activities, reading parties, conferences, and family activity holidays are programmed throughout the year. Corporate groups outwith higher education also visit Firbush to participate in team building and management training courses.
Firbush provides an extensive programme of outdoor activities throughout the year, organised on a seasonal basis, with watersports and mountain activities forming the essence of Firbush courses. Activities on offer at Firbush include:

“The Scottish Rugby Squads’ route to Japan is via Firbush……..
On Sunday 16th Scotland’s Rugby World Cup training squad embarked on an inter-squad team building exercise. Racing north from Stirling to Inverness they completed a series of challenges. One of which was a canoe trip across Loch Tay, finishing at Firbush!
Needless to say, the Firbush team were all thrilled to welcome the squad and wish them the very best of luck in the autumn.
