Freshly fried well worth the wait

Having visited this chippy for many years I was in recently and having purchased a fish supper asked for my half litre water bottle to filled with tap water. Astonishingly I was refused as 'tap water costs money and they sell bottled water'.

When I asked for contact details for the manager to ask about this further the staff then became dismissive to be point of rude. I find this policy unbelievable, I run a business that pays for water and half a litre costs about 1 pence. Not really a massive discount on a fish supper costing £6.40 and certainly not very customer focused.

I wrote to the Manager but never received a reply. Greed or ignorance, possibly both? Either way I shall be taking my business elsewhere.

Well, I thought they were greasy and over-priced. But the locals seem to love the place. And it isn't really like you have a choice.
