Today we worked on clean and snatch technique.
The clean and snatch are great exercises to develop power and speed. And to get a heavy weight overhead!
But it ain't a walk in the park!... A lot of technique is involved to get it safely overhead!
Thanks to the guys who made an impromptu appearance to Fit Club Monday! Chris and Sharon!
The Met Con we did today was Heavy DB snatches 5 each side Every minute on the minute (using the rest of the time for rest) for 8 mins!
Try it out if you want a great total body workout!
Also message me if you would like to try it out or PM if you would like Private training to work on developing athletic speed and power!
What's the point of looking good if you can't do anything with it?!

Group 1's smashing PBs today
We done a max lift day to see how much strength the guys have made.
And the results are impressive!
... Sharon managed to get an increase of 10kgs to her back squat!!!
The guys managed to increase their back squat to 130kg!!!
And Dave almost got a 150kg deadlift (not to full lockout) which is a 10kg increase on his previous best!
And manage to do much more work in the metabolic conditioner at the end than the last time the performed it.
The Met Con was:
10 left snatches and front rack lunges for 2 lengths then perform the same in the right side.
Amrap 10mins
14kg dumbbell for men , 10kg dumbbell for the ladies!

***Fit Club Update***
My voice is dull, ey?!! Hahaha
The Free Trial went down well!
... The conditioner was hard but they managed to survive!
Well done to Chris, Mark, Louise, Jennifer, Kenny and Stuart for participating and giving the new Fit Club day on a Wednesday morning.
Next week will be the first of the new program.
At the moment, It's just £35 for 6 weeks.
They will be a waiting list for those who are unable to join Wednesday.

***Tomorrow Free Trial***
Hey guys! I'm expecting a big turnout tomorrow morning.
It is a taster session to see if Fit Club is right for you.
... There may be more people than a typical Fit Club session with a view that you will get more attention with fewer people.
But Be warned - there are limited spaces available. Ideally a Maximum of 6 people.
This is for quality control.
If you like Fit Club and spaces fill up don't worry, I will have another set up at the end of July.

***Cycle 1 completed***
We ended on 30 Clusters 30 Push-up Burpees in under 10mins then worked out way up to 15mins.
Every round you got an extra 2.5mins rest.
... Sounds ok.
But...this is what the team looked like at the end.
Floored!

***FREE TRIAL***
There is an opportunity for you guys to try out what Fit Club is about, next Wednesday the 15th.
And will start the following week, on the 22nd.
... It's running for an initial 6 weeks, but it's not a one-and-done situation, if you enjoyed the sessions and find Wednesday morning convenient it will be a permanent session with the same group of people. So you can grow and become part of the community!
I will be adapting the program every cycle (every 6 weeks) so that means you get stronger and fitter all the time; there's no plateaus in Fit Club.
Fit Club is unlike anything I have ever seen before. And I have tried Bootcamps, Crossfit, Les Mills, but nothing compares to this.
This is group Personal Training at it's best.
The guys from the current program managed to Increase their strength by 5-10kg in a matter of weeks.
Do you want to feel part of a growing community of people who don't just want to get in shape for the summer, but to enjoy keeping fit all year round?
I am seriously passionate about Fit Club. So you will only get the best!

***Fit Club Update***
Week 5 has been and gone. and Everyone has PR'd on their lifts.
Pretty much everyone in a few weeks have increased their Deadlift by at least 5 Kg some as much as 10kg.
... And these guys are already pretty strong.
Well done to Chris, Dave, Clare, Sharon and Peter on their lifts.
130kg, 140kg, 70kg, 100kg and 145kg** Now it's time to increase their workload in the next program and get them stronger.

... Today we did BB back sqwats @ 80-85% of their 2RMaxes 2x3
And
The workout focused on athletic ability and endurance. Focussing on Legs and core!!
Ain't no random shizz going up in here!!!
10 lengths of sprints 10 v crunches 2 lengths of broad jumps 10 thruster burpees x 4 Capped time of 10mins.
Well done to the crew!!
