Fitz M1 finished off the year with a trip to Henley qualifiers as a coxed four, racing alongside several other Cambridge colleges. Didn't qualify but there was some close competition between the colleges with our guys beating Jesus and finishing less than a second behind Queens'.

Fitz W1 joined forces with Newnham this weekend to trial for Henley Women’s Regatta,. The crew put in a great row, coming out just 2.7 seconds shy of qualifying for the regatta, and hugely enjoyed their experience of racing on the course!

Wishing all our crews in the May Bumps this week the very best of luck! Fitz has six crews on this week, the first time we've had six crews in Mays (3 on each side) since 2013.
Be sure to come down to the river this week to cheer our crews on!

A fantastic showing from FCBC at Champs Eights Head this weekend, with an impressive 6 Fitz crews out on the water - also the first time we've had 3 women's crews racing since 2013 😀 Solid performances all round and some good experience to prepare us for racing the bumps course!

Shout out to all of our crews racing last weekend during City's Big Weekend!
M3 kicked off their bumps campaign with a hard-fought race against Downing M2, W2 recorded their fastest race yet, taking chunks off their GoR time after already having raced for 2K, and W1 won their division and finished as the fastest women's eight of the day!
Well done to everyone taking part - lots of hard work ahead before bumps but a brilliant foundation upon which to build for the rest of the term!

Huge congratulations to FCBC’s Jess Halliday who won the Fairbairn Junior sculls at last week’s Small Boats Regatta - adding to her rapidly growing list of sculling titles! 😁

FCBC was delighted to host the Lionesses of the Università Ca’ Foscari this weekend, and challenge them to a race on the Cam. The crews rowed the Radegund Mile, with Ca’ Foscari the eventual victors, clocking the second fastest W8+ time of the day!
We were also hugely fortunate to be able to enter an alumni crew headed by Sarah Winckless, who joined us for the weekend and provided inspiration and encouragement to the rowers from both universities.
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the crews - we look forwards to returning the challenge in Venice soon!

Big congratulations to Fitz's very own Lou Brett for making the Cambridge University Women’s Lightweight crew, where she will be racing at 7.
We're very proud and wish the crew all the best in Henley!

Well done to our crews competing at Newnham Short Course this weekend. Strong performances from our men and women's first boats both finishing 4th!

A few pictures from the annual Pudding Races held at the end of Michaelmas term - a strong showing from Billygoats and current FCBC rowers alike led to some pretty hard-fought races, with the 'Holy Helen' boat the eventual victors over the 'Christmas Carole' and 'Reindeer Rob' boats. Thank you very much to Robert Doe for organising the racing!

Congratulations to Fitz Frankincense, who won the mixed 4+ division at Christmas Head last weekend - also giving the John Eisold her first win on the Cam!
