Recently bought a used KIA sportage from this dealership, canŌĆÖt say I have had any problems as this is the second car I have bought from them, always willing to sort any faults IŌĆÖve had with cars.

The KIA is a very nice motor, and the salesman CRAIG went out of his way to ensure I was getting the best deal I possibly could, never once pressured into purchasing extra packages but did get asked if I wanted them, even got a follow up call a few weeks later to ask how we are getting on with the car. It was a birthday present to myself and there was even a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the passenger seat and the car was under a big reveal red sheet. Car was in this morning at Stirling for a health check and to check if another dealer had sorted a problem. Booking in and discussing issue was nice and easy. Technician was efficient and thorough with health check and road test. Only pointed out an issue I already suspected and didnŌĆÖt quote any unnecessary work. Car is coming back in for the work required at the weekend. Darren was a pleasure to deal with on the service desk and not pushy in the slightest. Travelling from the east side of Edinburgh to Stirling to use this dealer as Forbes has a good team, everyone in the showroom was friendly and all said hello. I myself as a motorcycle technician generally have trust issues with other people working on my cars , but I have no such issues with these technicians. This is now my Kia dealer of choice and I have to pass at least 2 others on way to here. In my opinion there are not many other car dealers who come close to these.

Received an excellent service from Craig Thomson. Had been looking for a RIO for the daughter and visited numerous dealers with little success until I found Flear & Thomson.

Craig gave an unbelievable offer, so much so I ended up buying 2 cars in the space of 2hrs, the second being a sorento.

Have been a KIA family for 14yrs, with 7 Rio's and sorento's over the period and can safely say, best service ever received

Absolutely over the moon with our new Kia Sportage 2. I've never been so happy with a car in my life! When I'm not driving it, I'm looking forward to driving it! The purchase was pleasant and fuss free, and the new car was available just days after our initial test drive. I'd of given 5 stars if we had been offered a coffee like the other customers. It's nice to be made feel very welcome. Craig did a good job of explaining the whole process.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement!! I picked up my second Kia from this dealership earlier in the week. I previously gave a review praising them for their customer service. However, today, I feel totally different. We had to return to the dealership as part of the passenger handle fell off. We hadn't even driven 50 miles since we got it. We were more or less accused of hitting something, even though there was not another mark on our car. Gregor then said something must have hit us as the inside of the handle was broken? Our car has not been parked anywhere where this could have happened. We can't prove it but we feel the handle must have been like this when we picked up the car. There is no other explanation. The bottom line is the handle has been glued back in! He then had the cheek to say " the glue was free of charge" we left feeling really upset and angry that our integrity was in question. Poor poor after sales service.

In 2012 purchased a secondhand 2007 Ford Fiesta with a low mileage from Flear & Thompson and shortly after it developed engine problems, took it back as I also bought their so called warranty, it broke down another twice before they would do anything and not until surprise surprise I had to take it to a ford garage to get an engine diagnostic done then take that back so they could review it. They had to replace the egr valve and they said they fixed it but didn't give me any paperwork . I had major problems with the engine even after that. I will never buy another car from them again as their customer service was in my opinion absolutely disgusting and non existent.

Dont buy from this dealership. I purchased a Kia Sportage from here. As usual, when the company has the cash they have no interest in you.

I collected the car and after parking up locally i decided to lower the rear centre arm rest - It looked like a can of juice had exploded in there, the gearstick gaitor was covered in white sticky stuff - possibly coffee and on closer inspection into the door handles and controls there was chocolate marks and the sides of the front seats also had marks all over . . . . I could go on!

I was angry especially when the sales man

told me the car would be valeted before i collected it, and confirmed this was done when i collected it.

I returned to the garage and Kevin the manager came out and seen the state of the car - he even said that it was a new valeter they had started!! - I can confirm the car was NEVER cleaned inside before i collected it and have plenty of photos to prove so.

The salesman phoned me up just over a week later to sell me the Service Plan, I explained that if the Valet was anything to go by, then the service is likely to be of the same standard.

He said he had not been told about me returning to the garage by the manager, Kevin and said I'll speak to him and call you back on Friday as i'm off on Friday - Two weeks later, guess what "Im still waiting on that call"!!



Long story short, i have advised all my family, friends and work colleagues to avoid this dealership. Should've bought from Arnold Clark after all.

We spoke about buying. Kia Sorento and weŌĆÖre booked to drive it only to be told that work needed to be done on its brakes. No problem we thought and offered to reserve it with a deposit subject to a test drive. I was told this was unnecessary and the car would be available for us to drive Wednesday. We managed to sort out the finance only to get a call Monday evening from our salesman to tell us that another salesman had offered it to another buyer first thing the next day.

Bought my first car from here and the state that it came home in was unbelievable, muddy doors inside and out, behind the Petrol cap was disgusting. Quick wipe over to spread the mud was about as far as I got for a valet. Would not recommend the valet at this garage and will be going to another one to have it cleaned properly. No attention to detail what so ever, the rain could do better!

To say I am disappointed is an understatement!! I picked up my second Kia from this dealership earlier in the week. I previously gave a review praising them for their customer service. However, today, I feel totally different. We had to return to the dealership as part of the passenger handle fell off. We hadn't even driven 50 miles since we got it. We were more or less accused of hitting something, even though there was not another mark on our car. Gregor then said something must have hit us as the inside of the handle was broken? Our car has not been parked anywhere where this could have happened. We can't prove it but we feel the handle must have been like this when we picked up the car. There is no other explanation. The bottom line is the handle has been glued back in! He then had the cheek to say " the glue was free of charge" we left feeling really upset and angry that our integrity was in question. Poor poor after sales service.

In 2012 purchased a secondhand 2007 Ford Fiesta with a low mileage from Flear & Thompson and shortly after it developed engine problems, took it back as I also bought their so called warranty, it broke down another twice before they would do anything and not until surprise surprise I had to take it to a ford garage to get an engine diagnostic done then take that back so they could review it. They had to replace the egr valve and they said they fixed it but didn't give me any paperwork . I had major problems with the engine even after that. I will never buy another car from them again as their customer service was in my opinion absolutely disgusting and non existent.

I collected the car and after parking up locally i decided to lower the rear centre arm rest - It looked like a can of juice had exploded in there, the gearstick gaitor was covered in white sticky stuff - possibly coffee and on closer inspection into the door handles and controls there was chocolate marks and the sides of the front seats also had marks all over . . . . I could go on!

I was angry especially when the sales man

told me the car would be valeted before i collected it, and confirmed this was done when i collected it.

I returned to the garage and Kevin the manager came out and seen the state of the car - he even said that it was a new valeter they had started!! - I can confirm the car was NEVER cleaned inside before i collected it and have plenty of photos to prove so.

The salesman phoned me up just over a week later to sell me the Service Plan, I explained that if the Valet was anything to go by, then the service is likely to be of the same standard.

He said he had not been told about me returning to the garage by the manager, Kevin and said I'll speak to him and call you back on Friday as i'm off on Friday - Two weeks later, guess what "Im still waiting on that call"!!



Long story short, i have advised all my family, friends and work colleagues to avoid this dealership. Should've bought from Arnold Clark after all.

We spoke about buying. Kia Sorento and weŌĆÖre booked to drive it only to be told that work needed to be done on its brakes. No problem we thought and offered to reserve it with a deposit subject to a test drive. I was told this was unnecessary and the car would be available for us to drive Wednesday. We managed to sort out the finance only to get a call Monday evening from our salesman to tell us that another salesman had offered it to another buyer first thing the next day.

Bought my first car from here and the state that it came home in was unbelievable, muddy doors inside and out, behind the Petrol cap was disgusting. Quick wipe over to spread the mud was about as far as I got for a valet. Would not recommend the valet at this garage and will be going to another one to have it cleaned properly. No attention to detail what so ever, the rain could do better!

Recently bought a used KIA sportage from this dealership, canŌĆÖt say I have had any problems as this is the second car I have bought from them, always willing to sort any faults IŌĆÖve had with cars.

The KIA is a very nice motor, and the salesman CRAIG went out of his way to ensure I was getting the best deal I possibly could, never once pressured into purchasing extra packages but did get asked if I wanted them, even got a follow up call a few weeks later to ask how we are getting on with the car. Picked up my Sportage 2 today and cannot fault the service provided by Craig. It was a birthday present to myself and there was even a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the passenger seat and the car was under a big reveal red sheet. Car was in this morning at Stirling for a health check and to check if another dealer had sorted a problem. Booking in and discussing issue was nice and easy. Technician was efficient and thorough with health check and road test. Only pointed out an issue I already suspected and didnŌĆÖt quote any unnecessary work. Car is coming back in for the work required at the weekend. Darren was a pleasure to deal with on the service desk and not pushy in the slightest. Travelling from the east side of Edinburgh to Stirling to use this dealer as Forbes has a good team, everyone in the showroom was friendly and all said hello. I myself as a motorcycle technician generally have trust issues with other people working on my cars , but I have no such issues with these technicians. This is now my Kia dealer of choice and I have to pass at least 2 others on way to here. In my opinion there are not many other car dealers who come close to these.
