We are looking for qualified staff to work in our Day Care.
We are a family friendly employer who are looking for flexible sessional EYP's to work in our Day Care. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.00pm. You should be registered or going to register with the SSSC and be willing to undertake a PVG. Our rate of pay is £9.00 per hour. We are having training on Saturday the 11th of May 2019 from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Families House on Curriculum for Excellence and Promoting Positive Behaviour. Creating a new framework for Out of School Care
Scottish Government has committed within its Programme for Government 2018-19, to developing a new framework for Out of School Care (including breakfast clubs, after school clubs, holiday clubs and childminders). A draft framework will be published in late summer 2019, which we will then consult on. ... At the moment, Scottish Government are engaging with parents to help draft this initial framework. We want to speak to parents of children that use Out of School Care. We also want to hear from parents whose children do not currently use Out of School Care, so that we can better understand the reasons why. In partnership with Dundee City Council and parent groups, Scottish Government will be holding a workshop on the 30th April at St Joseph's Primary School, a choice of two times 2pm or 6pm. The workshop will last approximately an hour. This is an opportunity for local parents to share their views. Input from parents is crucial for developing a framework that is informed by those people who use or would like to use Out of School Care services – please come along to help shape the future of Out of School Care in Scotland.

Proud to be providing our unique and innovative flexible childcare service in Dundee.

Animal Magic which has been published Care Inspectorate highlights the ways many people get the most out of life by being around or caring for animals. Contact with animals can provide something special and magical in addition to human contact. Again, from the support from Radio Tay's Cash for Kids the children and staff visited Camperdown Wildlife Centre. One of the Health and Social Care Standards 1.30 “As a child, I have fun as I develop my skills in understanding, thinking, investigation and problem solving, including through imaginative play and storytelling”, was relevant to our visit. Enjoy looking at the photos as much as our children enjoyed their outing 😍

The children and staff had an outing to Standrewsaquarium last week. This was thanks to Radio Tay's Cash for Kids. The grant we received from them allowed us to take the children on this outing to the aquarium in St Andrews. Photos say a lot more than words and you can all see how much everyone enjoyed the outing and the benefits of the children being outside and in a different environment 😍
