Words cannot describe how talented Wendy is at making such beautiful dresses. I was lucky enough to have Wendy make my dress for my white wedding in the 3rd March 2018.

She listened to my ideas and turned my dress into a wonderful reality, I felt absolutely beautiful! Wendy made it a lovely experience, from our very first meeting to my last fitting. I truly enjoyed the whole process. Thank you so much Wendy, you are a beautiful soul! Xx

Wendy's passion and talent is clear the first time you meet her. Wendy met with me twice, drew sketches, posted out to me official sketches and sample materials and didn't charge a fee to do this.

If you're budgeting and think that having your dress made would be too expensive, it's still worth getting in touch with Wendy for a chat. I couldn't find anything in the shops that matched what I wanted, the few I did see were well over budget. Wendy created the exact dress I had in mind at a price I was really happy with.



The experience of having Wendy create your dress is really unique- you can visit and go for fittings as often as you like. Every time you go you might add something/take something away and you can bring potential shoes/veils/jewellery to help you see the full picture. This just wasn't an experience that I would have had from a bridal store.



Wendy's nature is what really makes the experience for her brides. She is so easy going, relaxed and friendly that you enjoy visiting her as well as your dress! The studio is lovely white, bright room filled with stunning dresses.



I really can't thank Wendy enough for her hard work and patience. We're lucky to have local talent like Flossy and Dossy!

Wendy was just fantastic every step of they way. The repeated fittings were spaced out so well on the lead up to the wedding and they were a highlight of the whole planning process. Seeing my dress come together before my eyes made me really happy. It suited and fitted me perfectly and was so in proportion to my size (i'm tiny at 4ft11) something which you could never get at a normal bridal shop or without wendy's expertise! Do not hesitate to drop by for a consultation, I will keep her initial drawing of my dress forever!



To wendy, thanks so much for everything! I felt so beautiful and comfortable on the day. expect a thank you card in the post! x

On my first meeting with Wendy I went through many images of what I liked. Her advice was to go out and shop! Try on different styles to make sure it's what I really wanted! And thank goodness I did! I ended up with the exact opposite of what I had imagined. But it was 100% perfect!



Wendy's service from beginning to end was nothing less than excellent! I can honestly say I'll miss going to visit!!



I'll definitely need to start thinking of what I can turn my dress into... it's just to amazing to be hung in a cupboard!!

Wendy is the most fabulous dressmaker in a beautiful workshop in the heart of Govan. I feel so privileged that she made my wedding dress. She is so hard-working and her attention to detail and perfect sewing work is commendable. I have a sewing family and they have commented on the beautiful stitch-work and quality of the dress. I am so glad I chose a bespoke wedding dress made by such a talented person!



There was no stress and I really enjoyed going to see Wendy (I think I might need to start getting more dresses made �). I hear that wedding dress shopping can be difficult but when you have an idea and you can have your idea brought to life so well then hand-made dresses win for me every time.



The cost as well was so reasonable for all the work involved and Wendy only needed 6-7 months notice however I think that can change depending on the current workload.



I will share some pics as everyone loved the dress and how unique it was. I’ve had so many comments on the sea pearl colour and Wendy did say how beautiful it would look.

If you want to support local business and have an ethically made, beautiful dress then Wendy of Flossy and Dossy is the person to go to! I honestly would give 100 stars if I could.

Couldn't have had more fun at my fittings or been more happy with the finished article. Will recommend to anyone who'll listen!

I would (and have done) recommend her to anyone and to be honest words aren't enough because she is such a lovely person as well as being so talented that I feel so lucky to have been a customer. �

So, I don’t even know where to start! Going to Wendy was the BEST dress decision I could have made! From start to finish Wendy listened to me, made me feel at ease and most importantly, I had complete confidence at every stage that my dress would be exactly as I imagined- and it was! Can’t thank Wendy enough for all of her hard work, patience and utter commitment to designing the perfect dress for me! Could not recommend a Flossy and Dossy dress more!! �� Thank you Wendy! Xx

I struggled to find my dress for a long time. For multiple reasons it wasn’t coming together and I was totally overwhelmed by the bridal dress market and the typical structure and protocol of them. On a whim, we booked to meet with Wendy (the Wonder Woman behind Flossy and Dossy) As a self conscious and indecisive bride I almost cancelled the meeting because surely getting a bespoke dress made would be a nightmare for someone like me. Could not be further from the truth. As soon as my mum and I met Wendy we knew it was the right decision. Wendy was a dream to work with and kept me calm. She really made the whole process so enjoyable and fun! You will not regret meeting with Wendy, her dedication to her work is heart warming and her studio was so welcoming. She is immensely talented and her work speaks for itself. She was like my fairy sew-mother, ha! Thank you Wendy!
