A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Zussman who successfully passed his PPL Skills Test today!! Sam just left the Flying Pig offices a Captain after an enormous amount of hard work! Well done! ūü•āūüöĀūüĎŹ

Wow......so much better than expected! He loved his flight and we enjoyed chilling on the couches, playing pinball and having a coffee whilst waiting. My eldest has already planned she wants a flight for her 10th birthday! Job done....saves me thinking of what to get her.

What an amazing day I had at Flying Pig Helicopters, I was made to feel so welcome I felt more like an old friend than a customer, I can't recommend this place highly enough .. Great value for a great experience and such lovely people :-)

Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff who made our helicopter flight extra special. Would highly recommend! Thank you! ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

This was a 50th Birthday pressie & it was great! All the staff were friendly, courteous & knowledgable. The experience itself was brilliant! Getting to control the helicopter really brought home to me the fantastic skill needs by pilots, especially Heli Med & S&R! I might come back if I win the lottery!!! ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

This is the second time i have been. First was a short buzz flight last year and today for a longer 30 minute trial lesson. Staff are fabulous and the experience was great. Special thanks to Capt Paul Speechley my husband had a great time!

This experience was through a Groupon offer for a 30 minute training flight. There were 2 of us, stepson who was interested in the training flight, me, I just wanted to take photos while flying over the Eastenders and Big Brother sets at nearby Borehamwood.

Review of the training flight was that it was great fun and worth the experience.

To actually book Flying Pigs services was straight forward. Staff were friendly, informative and due to health and safety, no cameras or mobile phones were allowed on the helicopter. Was gutted about that but it is in the terms and conditions….

Photos were taken before the flight and my pilot was Paul. He said that we could fly over Borehamwood so I was well excited. The helicopter is very small and confined and despite a fear of heights, I found it okay. The flying experience itself was great fun, with headphones on, I thought it was very quiet, peaceful and the flight was smoother than an experience I’d had in a bigger helicopter. Before we landed Paul did some sideways and backwards flying and that was real cool.

There are several options for buying photos and obtaining a DVD of the flight. As with all flight experiences these are not cheap but don’t be afraid to haggle or ask what your preference may be. We ended up with a memory stick of photos and 2 DVD’s. Had a great time. DVD arrived within 2 weeks.

In all, I’d recommended this company whether it’s for a training experience or just for the thrill of flying in a helicopter.

Thanks to all the staff at flying pig helicopters for there patience ( as I am disabled ) had a very enjoyable flight there is a lot more to flying a helicopter than I 1st thought a must try experience for anyone.

Just got home from my trial flight. Phil was brilliant, so knowledgeable and instilled calm. Shame it didn't last longer, like about 2-3 hours, I was enjoying the lesson so much I forgot to discover the views. If I have won the lottery, I will be back to take the full course and gain a licence to fly.

It was my daughters flying experience. She was very nervous and all staff were brilliant with her. Thankyou

I've been bitten! I can't wait to do it again, fantastic fun and great staff......... family run business and it showed felt very welcome, thank you ūüėä

Good professional outfit. Explained very clearly safety details of what to do and not to do.

Everyone was lovely. Our captain Peter was really nice . Glad I bought as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he had a great time. For someone who doesn't like hights I wanted it to last longer.

An absolutely fantastic experience from the beginning to the end

AMAZING!!!! Booked this for our 10 year anniversary and couldn't manage to fly the first date we booked due to low clouds. Although disappointed we understood that Flying Pig Helicopters can't control the weather and only had our safety in mind. Went back today and it was brilliant. Our son was allowed to come with as a passenger and both my husband and I got to fly. The ground crew, reception staff and instructor were all so friendly and helpful and helped make our day really special. Want to give them all a massive thank you. Would highly recommend!!!! Only downside was my son said his dad did a better job of flying than me!
