LASER & ULTRASOUND THERAPY
As many of our clients know we provide laser and ultrasound therapy in our clinics. We are now SUPER excited to announce that this can be administered by all the FootFalls Team Members.

We are so proud of Harry he has come on so well from surgery at Fitzpatrick referrals. We have been part of his rehabilitation from the start and seen his progress. He is tiny in size but his willingness is huge. Again under Kate’s supervision Harry’s underwater treadmill session with Nik went very well including his squeeze cheese intake.

We also had the the beautiful Phoenix in who was waiting patiently for her turn at showing Nik how it’s done with a puppy swim after her sister Fudge. She was an absolute pro at giving Kate cuddles and kisses whilst supervising.

We had the beautiful Fudge in for her fun and fitness hydrotherapy. Fudge is such a kind soul and was amazingly comfortable and relaxed when helping Nik swim her for the first time. Nik was directed and under Kate’s supervision from poolside.

We are very pleased to introduce Dexter. Dexter came to see us for hydrotherapy due to issues with his elbows. He was a lovely relaxed happy boy

FootFalls are pleased to announce that we are bringing back our pet owners first aid class on Thursday 12th September. We will be covering a whole host of information from bandaging, shock, CPR and poisonous bites.
The night will be run by our fully qualified pet first aid instructor Nicole and one of the therapy team will be in attendance. You will receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years and of course all the knowledge you need incase your furry friend requires it. ...
To secure your place we will require a £10.00 deposit, with the final balance of £25.00 paid on the day.

FootFalls are taking part in an exciting new research study led by Dr. Ryk Botes, Orthopaedic Vet, Medivet Faversham. To date over 50 dogs have undergone this surgery. Since 2016 Dr. Botes has been studying and gathering data about a new surgical technique for elbow replacement. The new technique is proving to be successful with detailed data taken on all the participating dogs to date. It’s a long road to recovery with a rehabilitation program of some 9 months but with an ...end result of a functional elbow and an improvement in pre surgery pain levels it is worth it. Bear, a 5 year old Labrador had the new surgery in January this year. He has been attending FootFalls for post operative rehabilitation and close monitoring of his gait since March. The first data collection from the treadmill was, as expected, dire at a score of 14! With hydrotherapy and a full rehabilitation program Bear’s scores on the treadmill have increased significantly to the most recent score of 56, pain levels have reduced and he is going from strength to strength. He still has a little way to go but all the signs are that this surgery has been successful
