In Scandinavian countries FIKA is a social institution. Making time in the day to be together with friends, family, colleagues and strangers in warmth, laughter and conversation. FIKA is togetherness, FIKA is community and FIKA is a good cup of coffee and indulgence in a treat or two.

ForFIKASake believes the combination of a Scandinavian inspired model, tinged with Scottish hospitality and the structure of a social enterprise coffee shop along with an arts driven events scene which will resonate with the people of Glasgow.

We are a social enterprise based upon creating a platform for young social entrepreneurs. ForFIKASake will be built, maintained and managed by young people aged between 16 and 18 supported by a skeleton staff of experienced young people aged between 18 and 35.
