We had the most perfect setting for our ‘secret wedding’ on the veranda of the Leanne Boathouse. The staff were fantastic especially Jodie and Sandy who were our witnesses. Even the smallest most intimate weddings can be carried out professionally and the day was everything we had hoped for.

We had a lovely time today with delicious food and very friendly stuff! Goats cheese salad at starters is the size of a main and one of the best salads I ever had in Scotland! I have tried many!!! Little one was happy with crayons and a massive plate too and dogs were welcomed with hugs from the stuff, which made us feel great and relaxed! Thank You!

Thank you FOK for hosting my son and daughter in law's wedding. The staff were top drawer. Steven, Sandy & Mark warrants a special mention. Top Team! Attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Steve and I would like to say a huge, big, massive thanks to all the staff at Forbes of Kingennie. We got married on the 21st April, not only was the day beautiful, but the whole day ran like clockwork. The staff were truly amazing. Katy, thank you so much for all the help planning our big day and always being so approachable and friendly. Sandy, you were incredible on the day and had everything operating smoothly. We could not have picked a better place to get married and our day was one that will never be forgotten by either of us. The venue is stunning and all our guests commented on the beauty of the place. Thanks again everyone, keep up the good work. Looking forward to visiting again soon for a meal in your lovely restaurant xx

Played Mr & Mrs Petrie Wedding last night, we were a bit nervous about the sound limiter as we never played at the venue before but Sandy and his team were brilliant helping out with all the information before and during set up. The Wedding went really well and the warning beacon didnt even flashed once at reasonable volumes. Great! We look forward playing there again! Thank you very much to all staff for being friendly and super efficient.

Just returned from our wedding here. A number of our family and friends travelled a long way and stayed at the venue. We had the most amazing time, staff, as always, were fantastic. Jodie and the team on the day of the wedding were professional, friendly and couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The planning team on the lead up to the wedding we're exceptional, ensuring our every request was executed perfectly. Thank you guys. You really have nailed it for weddings at Forbes. The venue itself is stunning but it really is the staff and service that make it. We'll be back soon......

Excellent venue for weddings and parties, as a busy Scottish Wedding band we played here 8th June 2018 and had a great night. Staff and service really friendly and helpful, nothing a problem. Highly recommended.

Everything about the evening was five star and the venue was just out of this world unfortunately it was raining but it was still magical xx

Absolutely perfect location for our wedding! My husband(woohoo) and I had the most perfect day. The staff were delightful and so helpful. They really made the whole thing seamless. I would recommend Forbes to anyone whether it’s for a short stay or a wedding. Even just a meal! Absolutely fantastic, so many of our guests said it had been the best wedding they had been to. X

as a fishery its very good but its too commercial with punters walking behind you as your casting. Too many trees and bushes behind you to let you have a full cast..
