Foreman'S Cottage Description
The foreman's cottage is fitted out to a high standard by its owner's. The cottage has been described as 'property nirvana' by journalists as it features a host of features such as a boudoir style master bedroom, log burner, open fire, drench shower, and aga. There is a large open plan area downstairs which is painted in calming soothing colours, and a mix of old and new pieces, giving the property the feel that you are in someones home not a rental property.
The evening skies at Lunan are spectacular, and the sunsets are amazing. The beach itself is an ever changing landscape and no two days on it are ever the same - at high tide it is wild and frothy and there are vast sandy flats when the tide is out. Imagine long walks in the height of summer, a picnic or bbq, and by contrast warm afternoons in front of the aga after a windy walk. The Dunes offer shelter and a great place for an evening sitting watching the waves.
On the doorstep there is fishing, equestrian facilities (Seahorse Stables with an indoor school and livery), great walking, surfing, boarding, and two fabulous restaurants nearby; Gordons in Inverkeilor and The But n Ben in Auchmithie.
