Forest Holidays Ardgartan Argyll

A gorgeous location on the edge of Loch Long. We were in a Golden Oak lodge, so had a log burner, hot tub and barbecue. The lodge was well presented and had everything we needed. It is a peaceful and remote location, so don't expect shops, restaurants or bars! Perhaps best to stock up before you get to the lodge with provisions.

When here on holiday but other than walking there really isn't much more to do, also I think all the cabins could do with a lick of paint

Superb location, great staff but the cabin (13) was rather dirty. Excessive dust, cobwebs, dishwasher broken, mould around the kitchen sink, shower head filthy with many blocked nozzles (sorted with a toothpick). Gutted not to have had a wood burner which we were expecting.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The lodges are modern with excellent quality interiors. The bbq and hot tubs are also very good. All day breakfast in the centre was substantial and well done.

We received a very warm welcome, the staff were all so very helpful and friendly. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was too. We ordered their pizza night special and it was delicious too.We had a most amazing stay and the scenery was stunning. Can't wait to go back there again.
