This week's Grand Tours of Scotland's Lochs saw Paul Murton travel to Loch Linnhe, Loch Sunart and Glencoe. The photography in this BBC One series has been nothing short of breathtaking!

Images as stunning as these only come around once a year. In Autumn, the woods and lochs and wild places are full of colour and light. We want to see your forest adventures...
Use #FoundMyForest on your pictures and videos, and we'll share them with our community on social media. Let's make Autumn even more awesome!

Have you seen these vehicles? They were stolen from Aberfoyle on Sunday 16 September.
The vehicles are:
- A white Toyota Hilux Active (Reg: MX18 JFA) with Truckman Top and black livery.
... - An Argocat All-Terrain Vehicle.
- A green Ford Ranger (Reg: SN08 CWW), with a winch attached.
Please see pictures in the comments. The vehicles were seen heading towards the Thornhill area. Their decals have probably been removed by now.
Please call Police Scotland on 101 if you have any info on its whereabouts, and quote incident number 0463. Thank you!

This week's episode of Grand Tours of Scotland's Lochs on BBC One was an adventure through Wester Ross, ending up at Loch Carron. A great series so far from Paul Murton, with some incredible footage of our beautiful countryside!

User

When on our holidays we spend most of our time in a Forestry Commission Scotland Forest. We have visited Forests in nearly every area of the country (and we have the leaflets to prove it!) We appreciate the work that is done and that we are allowed access to these beautiful places.

User

The Forestry Commission does such great work-- particularly their beautifully-produced and thoughtful learning packs, which use fun ways (like Lego!) to explore landscapes within the past and share resources with schools, community groups, and families.

User

Taking care of breathtaking Scottish landscapes with local communities

User

Hats off to the Forestry Commission Scotland and their continued good work looking after our land and our forests.

User

Great day at David Marshall Lodge in Aberfoyle. Loved the Alice in Wonderland Trail, really nicely done and the kids had a great time racing to find the next clue.

User

Forestry commission scotland are doing a fab job. I was realy impressed with everything I saw while visiting Argyle. It is a total shame that some visitors treat all their hard with such disrespect.. keep up all the hard work....some of us visitors appreciate it 🖒

User

Fabulous day at Linwood Community woodland well done to all involved . Happy children enjoying the outdoors.

User

Best place I have ever seen the night sky loved it

User

Attended the bat walk in Larbert tonight and it was great. The rangers were excellent and fab with the children.

User

At the Boden Boo Halloween event last night (29/10/16) - fantastic for the kids & brilliant for the local community. Brilliant, friendly staff and great performers. Well done to all. Long may it continue.

User

A special shout out to the forestry commissioner who saved me and my family near Dukes Pass today!!! What an absolute legend!!! Thank You!!! The highland coo bus slogan made us laugh too but think it was too cold for any of that!

5 starJust found the official website after 5 years I've visited the area. I remember the places as simply amazing! Incredibly peaceful & fantastic scenarios for a life-time memories. For those who don't consider themselves "nature lovers", well, y'all will probably reconsider that after getting blissfully trapped and lost into the serenity of the forests and loch views. Unforgettable sunsets.

User

Just visited AE forest, lovely walk on the yellow trail, very well marked and well kept, however very disappointed that the cafe was not dog friendly, I don't understand why they would not allow dogs, floor was tiled so no carpet to get dirty, but would let wet and muddy cyclists into the cafe, I think the forestry commission needs to re-look at this rule, hence why I have only given this a 3 rating

User

Great for walking and fantastic scenery, good for the soul

User

Mabie forest park today with my young family of two sons under 6. Only to find that some of the attractions the "tree structure" and the "instruments in the woods" within the kids area have been removed without being replaced with alternatives; couple this with a generally untidy/unkept feel to the place which left us with very little to do and therefore disappointed with our visit. I have been a fairly regular vistitor to the site over the years but now unfortunately this will be bottom of the destinations list for our family in the future.
