Brilliant night at Forres A and F club last Wed 12th Dec The Christmas meeting had a special hamper donated by Phyllis Brander. This raised more than £200. The Guest Artistes were the Seamus O'Sullivan trio. Seamus on accordion, his son John on keyboard and Duncan Christie on drums. They gave us a superb evening of music with lovely arrangements, and John sang a song in each half. We had a good turn out of local players who, as usual play well and support us at every club night. Our next meeting is on Wed 9th January at 7.30 pm in the Victoria Hotel, Forres. Our Special Guest is the well known accordionist Alan Roy. We look forward to welcoming you all again and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a good New Year.

Fabulous night at Forres Accordion and Fiddle club with the brilliant Iain MacPhail band. What lovely arrangements and fantastic playing. Thanks to all the supporting musicians as well and a Capacity audience. Next month is our Christmas meeting so looking forward to another terrific night.

Another fabulous night tonight. Local players were a bit short on the ground but those who were there gave us all a super night. Thanks to Addie Harper and his band who travelled all the way from Wick. What a fabulous group of musicians with their own unique style and sound. Lovely variety of music excellently played with some lovely playing by the fiddler. Nice to hear Addie changing couple on the accordion so that the fiddle could be heard playing the lead at some parts. Then Addie gave us a real treat by playing the Hawaiian guitar. What a talented bunch! Thanks to all the players, committee and helpers for fantastic night.
