... Friday 7th April: Arrive Dalry for a pint! Sort out your own meals (not included).
Saturday 8th - Arrive Forrest Estate Shooting Ground: 09.30am: Tea / coffee & shortbread on arrival – Welcome, introductions and safety briefing.
Clay Pigeon Shooting: Test your skills on various competitions on simulated targets including driven pheasants, duck, bolting rabbit and pigeons etc.
Rifle Shooting: Instruction will be providing on our rifle range on silhouette targets including rabbit, fox and deer over various distances. Plus more!
Trout Fishing: Any method, triple points for fish caught of the fly!
Shoot Lunch: BBQ
Finish: (5pm approx):
Carvery Dinner Ken Bridge Hotel: 7.30pm for 8pm (Meal included)

It just goes to show it's never too late to start shooting! Marion Edwards celebrated her 80th, yes 80th birthday with a shooting lesson with me at Forrest Estate today. That had to be worth a bottle of bubbly!!

Well laid out with some challenging clays .Good forest site and scenery.

To begin with i was very anxious and nervous as i had never even held a gun before. Andrew was brilliant! Put me at ease and talked me through everything. Definetly recommend, i had a great time and cant wait to go back!

Thanks Andrew for this afternoon...I had an amazing time. This is something I never ever thought I would or could do. I was probably a bit scared, apprehensive etc etc but you made me feel so at ease, it wasn't scary one bit....I loved it!!! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, total novice (like me) or the much more experienced country sportsperson...just go, it's amazing!

Had a fantastic afternoon here today. Andrew was very welcoming and patient with a clear passion for country sports. He took time with each individual to allow them to get the best from their shooting experience. Would highly recommend this place whether your a complete novice like myself or an experienced person. Set in a great location.

Had a briliant day here.never handled a gun in my life and part of an eightieth birthday trip to Dumfries and Galloway with family,one of the highlights was here.Andrew was brilliant,highly recommend this.
