A friendly and welcoming rugby club, located at South Gyle in the West of Edinburgh. Our 1XV currently play in the Tennants East League Division 1 - We have rugby at all age groups - 1XV, 2XV, Over 35’s, Mixed Touch, Youth & Mini levels 🏉

Hi all one of our players are selling Christmas trees this year and for every tree that is bought, they will donate £5 to cash for kids so they can buy gifts for underprivileged kids throughout Edinburgh and the Lothian’s! Rugby at Craigmount High School kicks off tomorrow following the start of new Youth Development Officer, Tom Wilson.
Tom has played for the championship winning team at Heriots, is now playing for Boroughmuir and has been selected for Scotland’s 7’s squad so comes with a wealth of rugby knowledge.
His role is funded from a partnership between Forrester & Corstorphine rugby clubs who are working together to return Craigmount to being one of the top rugby schools in Edinburgh.
... Tom’s first taster session for boys from S1-S4 starts straight after school on Wednesday. It will be non-contact with just normal PE kit required. No experience is necessary as we look to build numbers to create teams at every year group over the next few years.
We will also be setting up a girls team so keep your eyes peeled for more news after the October break.

Was there last night for NHS quiz night. Great staff/members, great buffet...loved the stovies as I arrived freezing cold and loved more the fantastically competitive bar prices �. Had a great night so a big thank you to all involved. I will certainly be recommending this club to my friends. Thanks again.
The club made me feel at home, when I was new to Edinburgh, and will always hold a place in my heart, the team the lads, some of the best times ever
The club has changed my life and my kids life for the best,been at the club many a year now it made us strong as a family and strong as individuals.We believe in family unity on and off the pitch,at the club manners politeness respect discipline and having fun is key to us all.
Played at Forrester for 15 years! Had a stint as club captain for 3 years and been a member of the executive committee for about 9 years now and currently hold the position of Vice President! Cracking family orientated club with great people

Not just a club, but family! Only been with them 3 and bit years and love it!
I've been playing rugby at Forrester for over 15 years now. I came right through the mini rugby set up into the senior squad and there is nowhere else i would rather play. Great club wee club that works tirelessly in the local community!
Have been at this club for approx 38 yrs as a youth & senior player & now Coaching, from original clubhouse to new one. Have enjoyed many great social evenings from Fancy Dress, Disco Nights & fund raisers. The Club has been a massive influence in the local Schools & community.
Great wee club friendly staff and good booze,the perfect place for a good night out
