Brilliant hotel, great venue for weddings. Or party was of around 60 people and the local folk band (who play every Fri night) played and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
Attended a friend's wedding at the hotel on sat 28th October, staff were attentive and food was delicious, roaring open fires and comfy seats everywhere, drinks in the bar not too expensive, didn't stay the night but friends said it was nice and breakfast was good, lovely location next to the church and the yew tree, very nice!
Enjoyed tea coffee in garden. beautiful scenery. Church yard and ancient Yew tree and thatched houses
Fantastic, well run small hotel, comfortable rooms, great food and friendly staff.
The place was pleasant enough and the staff were nice. We had 3 scones and a muffin with. 2 hot chocolate and teas. They came prett quickly, and were nice enough if a little expensive for what they were.
Lovely country house hotel. Escape!
Fireplace was a bit too smoky, but the drinks were good!
