Girdle Toll Parish Church in Irvine had to shut early yesterday leaving families starving. They can no longer rely on the main food bank in Ardrossan, as they too are being forced to turn people away because of lack of stock.
Their service is desperately needed by families in the local community. Without food to distribute, children face going to bed hungry at night.
We will be looking to donate to the food bank on Tuesday 21st May 2019. Please have a look in your cupboards f...or the items below or maybe even buy a couple of extra things on the list during this weekend's shop.
All donations help no matter how big or how small.

Two things we try to offer our clients are transparency and flexibility, which is why you'll find a Cost Calculator on our website that will allow you to see the exact cost of the service you desire, with the functionality to add and remove whatever additional requirements you may or may not have.

In this recently published Good Housekeeping article, they cite the average cost of a funeral at £4,271 and bring in research from the CMA recommending shopping around to save a typical value of £1,000 from the cost.
Our Direct Cremation package is just £899, and our Traditional Funeral is £1839 which includes costs for coffin, hearse and limousine. This represents a 41% saving versus the Co-op.
