Join the friendly Foxglove foxes for their very first networking event!
Make new connections, learn some top tips about collaborating with other businesses, and get a free day pass for the Foxglove coworking space too!
Our speakers for this event are Jeremy Jusoh & Malin Lernhammar from Jusoh Design :... "Malin and Jeremy run a branding agency and will talk about how collaboration can help you find new clients and bring new opportunities to your business. Not being from Edinburgh, they had to build their business starting without a network and collaboration has been one of the most important factors in their growth. They will share practical advice around work exchange, referral partnerships, support groups and how to go about collaboration to make everyone involved excited and happy about the outcome." All businesses, charities, etc welcome to attend - no matter what size you are, where you're based or how long you have been going. Even if you haven't actually started up yet, why not pop along and chat with people who have to get some help and advice?
Event schedule 5:30pm - 6:00pm : Arrive and informal networking / refreshments 6:00pm - 6:05pm : Welcome from Neil (assisted by the Foxglove foxes if they don't get stage fright...) 6:05pm - 6:30pm : Collaboration talk by Jeremy & Malin with time for short Q&A afterwards 6:30pm - 7:30pm : more informal networking, refreshments and a chance to find out more about the coworking & meeting room facilities from office manager Kathryn.
All attendees will receive a complimentary day pass for the Foxglove coworking space which you can use any day you choose (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm) until the end of April 2019.
We'll also have information available about how Scottish Enterprise can help your business collaborate with others by forming Consortium Co-operatives, and can put you in touch with an advisor after our event if that is something you'd like to find out more about.
