We’ve just had a great experience in Frankie and Bennies, on a wee midweek cinema date we decided to nip in for some lunch. The food was great at a good price, but the real reason for the review was the service we received from the tall girl with wavy hair in a Ponytail and glasses, not sure if she was the manager, I didn’t see a name badge but as two fussy people she went out her way even giving me some of her own personal Oat milk that she had brought in for herself. Absolutely fantastic customer service, great recommendation on the food and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much, we will be back! x �

Visited yesterday with a party group of 16 for my daughters 13th birthda and could not have had a better time. Staff were all excellent and so friendly. Will deffinately be back again soon. �

My friend and I had a lovely meal last night. Great value with a voucher I had so that made it even better!! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we would definitely go back�

Just been served by ELLA in the Glasgow quay. Amazing service super quick, excellent wine and burgers. and good Oz chat �. Will be back. - James and Liam x

I really enjoyed my experience here yesterday. The staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The food was great. I always enjoy coming here.

I have had 2 lovely meals in here over the past few days using the 50% discount voucher making it great value. However, the best thing of all is the staff . . . I had a meal on Monday evening and did not realise until Wednesday that I had lost my glass case which had my glasses for driving and £200 which someone had given me as payment for a trip. I phoned on Wednesday afternoon and was delighted to find that Callum and Jenn had found it on Monday evening and had placed it in the safe awaiting my phone call. I offered Jenn a reward which she declined but I would like to publicly thank her and Callum for their honesty. I will definitely return! :)

Great service was quick and the meal was worth the money. The lady that served us was so helpful and cheery. Great to see somebody with a smile on their face when working with the public.Have been there a few times and i will be back..�

Did take a couple of minutes till we were seen by staff at door, then we're seated in the stall with the bench seats that makes you feel like your constantly at war with person on other side. Waiter was very pleasant and gave good service , meal was good but surprised that they couldn't give us sweet potato fries at 15:30 on a Thursday . Any way we got our emergency service discount after a enjoyable meal.

6 of us popped in after bowling and all had lovely meals. Service was Fab, very cheery chap who was very attentive and made sure we were happy with food, had mix up with drinks but was sorted out right away. Will definitely go back.

mains all good but when it got to dessert, we had four desserts coming we waited about 45 minutes for only two to come, then it was another 25 minutes before the other two came!

Very over priced! £15 for a burger and hadfull fries!!

It’s had a tidy refurb and a spring clean, but the service and chefs were very poor.

What ever happened to a “quick lunch”!

1hr 25mins for a two course lunch and it wasn’t even busy. Yes, the place looks way better than it did two or three years ago, but bring back the service basics.

SERVICE: Seated and then ordered two drinks which the Asst. Mgr quite clearly forgot about. Eventually they arrived and eventually we ordered. 25 minutes for Chicken Strips and Cheesy Garlic Mushrooms to arrive. Once cleared, 25 minutes for a burger and pizza to arrive.

Only two staff visibly working. The manager who seated us initially had disappeared and only returned to make herself a coffee. Why not help out your troops in a time of need.

FOOD: Frank & Ben? Why have you removed the lettuce from the chicken strips? All you get now is two chicken fillets on a plate!?! Seriously....

Burger was quite clearly, cooked and then re cooked. Dry and with a 5mm layer of charcoal either side. Hard, Chewy and the worst burger I’ve ever had at F&B.

Complain there and then, why bother. I’d waited a lifetime for it to arrive and wasn’t willing to wait for a replacement. Been a F&B customer for years, loved the lunch menu all those years ago, but too many changes and poor quality food now will not keep up with the competition.

I remember when this restaurant used to be queued out the door... not now! Seriously, the food had took a major nose dive. Starters were fine, but husbands steak was half fat and my mac and cheese was cold and congealed together. I complained and they sent out another which was hot but still congealed together with no cheese sauce (thinking they may just have microwaved it?) I couldn't eat it. They did take it off the bill but I still left having only ate a starter. Waiter was nice and service was good, so left him a good tip, but unfortunately It'll be a while before I dare venture in again. I know now why the restaurant is no longer busy ...

We ordered Eggs benedict today. Muffins where barely toasted and tasted raw . Poached eggs where completely hard (tasted microwaved) and the very small amount of hollandaise sauce which just tasted like melted butter. Ordered a side of pancakes for my daughter which tasted like rubber probably microwaved also . The table behind us didn't enjoy their food either . Wouldn't recommend at all

Really not happy with our dinner tonight - severely overcooked. 4 adults each had steaks cooked Rare - all 4 were at least medium/well done. Two if us had the mixed grill and the accompanying chicken was extremely dry.

To add to the poor food we were given the bill as soon as we finished our food and a very short time later the waiter arrived with the card machine for payment - seemingly desperate for us to leave. I can understand this behaviour if the place was busy and they needed the table but they were very quiet - only about half a dozen other tables taken.

Didn't complain at the time as I thought it was only my dinner that was poor but in conversation later it turned out that all 4 adults had poor meals - all overcooked.

Will not be returning.
