Franks is a traditional Skye crofters cottage. Recently refurbished to a high standard to provide 4 star holiday accommodation for 4 guests

Franks holiday cottage is situated in Bornasketaig, 5 miles north of Uig on the Trotternish peninsula at the northerly tip of Skye.
It offers quality accommodation for up to 4 guests and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Franks has been awarded 4 stars by The Scottish Tourist board.

The open plan living space has a well quipped kitchen with Bosch appliances (built in micro wave, oven and induction hob), there is an integrated fridge / freezer and all the utensils and equipment needed for preparing great meals after a days exploring.

The lounge has a log burner and smart tv. There is a Netflix account giving access to the latest movies and a Sonas music system with Spotify account for unlimited music streaming as well as radio.
There is free unlimited WiFi and there is a landline phone with incoming and emergency calls.

The ground floor has underfloor heating and the bedrooms have electric panel heaters for your comfort. There are tv`s in the bedrooms with built in dvd players.

The beds have lovely goose feather and down duvets and quality egyptian cotton linen and pocket sprung mattresses for a great nights sleep.

The Island has so much to offer, from fantastic scenery and history, to great walks and cycling.
There are great café`s serving the best coffee and cake, restaurants serving local produce and sea food.
Whitewave activity entre is only 5 mins from the house. The fairy glen, the quiraing, the kilt rock and Old man of Storr are all just a short drive away. As are the historic Duntulm castle one time home of the MacDonalds, and the Iron age souterain recently discovered by a local crofter.

There is a slipway at Camus mor a 5 minute walk away, where you can launch boats and fish off the rocks.
