Wow, just Wow. I cannot rave enough about Mette and her team. Absolutely fantastic, made the wedding dress of my dreams!

The team at Freja are extra-ordinary. Mette makes you feel so very welcome from the initial consultation to the collection date. She will work with you and your body shape to create an exquisite dress. I loved the wedding dress so

much I had an evening gown designed at the same time.



The dress was amazing on the wedding day, a custom lace jacket to go over my dress - a daytime and evening look in one dress.



I am now a Mrs, but thankfully Mette and the team work with wives too :-)



You are all five star!! Love you to bits, Mette. You are so gifted

Professional, friendly and hugely talented designer. It's no wonder that she's always busy busy! My wife and I both had the pleasure of having our wedding dresses made and were both thrilled with the outcome! Wonderful!

Over the last 4/5 years I have walked past Freja' on my way to the opticians. There was always something in the window to catch my eye. When it came to my son's wedding and my Mother of the Groom outfit, it was an obvious choice.



I knew the style of dress I had in mind (50's Grace Kelly/ Audrey Hepburn look), I went in to discuss my ideas with Mette and took a couple of pictures with me.



The end result was Fabulous. I couldn't wait to wear it and felt amazing on the day. I have wore it again recently on a cruise and again received many compliments.



My Goddaughter ( and several others) thought I looked like the 'modern' Cinderella.



Mette was amazing and I would recommend her for your 'exclusive' look for that special occasion.

Mette responded to my initial inquiry about a wedding dress and listened to my ideas when several other dressmakers wouldn't, given my rather small budget. She invited me to pop in and showed me what might be possible based on my ideas and within my budget. From there on I knew I had to go with Mette to make my dress, she was so attentive, creative and enthusiastic. The end result was a custom made dress that fitted me perfectly, was unique and exactly what I wanted. Very easy to communicate with, always ready to answer any daft questions or concerns I had and always listening and responding to my ideas - I couldn't recommend Mette or her company enough!

Mette is such a lovely women and never failed to amaze me with her chat and what a great dress maker too of course! From start to finish it was such a great experience, she makes you feel relaxed and she is so welcoming! I will never forget the day she said 'i am here for you, you are not here for me' with regards to fittings and i thought wow! Isn't that what every bride wants to hear!? Thank you mette!

Mette created my mum's MOB outfit and it was just absolutely fantastic. She worked with my mum to create the ideal dress for her. It was beautiful and the colours just suited my mum to a T! Mette is one the warmest, friendliest people I've ever come across, it doesn't feel like customer service because that doesn't feel like it's doing her justice. She went above and beyond for me, taking care of my dress when I had to keep it somewhere when it was brought up from London, I got my stunning veil from her, she helped me choose my headpiece from one of the Edinburgh designers she stocks and she created the bridesmaids sashes which, complemented and completed my bridesmaids outfit. Mette and her team made my wedding dress for my wedding in June. I loved it and I loved her!! I went with a vague idea and a Pinterest and a few hours later had a drawing of a dress that I loved. She knew exactly what I wanted, even before I did. My original intention was to try on dresses elsewhere too but following our meeting I didn't bother as I knew Mette was the one!!



The dress was exactly what I wanted, wonderfully finished and perfectly fitted. Mette herself is just a joy to work with - super friendly and funny! I loved going for fittings, not just for the dress but to see her too!! On the day I felt beautiful, and knowing that no one else in the world would have that dress made it that extra bit special!! Thank you again for my wonderful dress!

Being a petite bride, having non-standard proportions and not wanting a traditional white wedding dress I opted to have a dress made and I couldn’t have made a better decision than choosing Freja. Mette listened and understood what I was looking for and made tweaks to the design to give me a beautiful, unique pale blue wedding dress and lace bolero which were perfectly flattering to my figure - which I adored! For many years I use to run by Freja and always admire the beautiful pieces in the window. I often thought one day I hope I will have a special reason to go in and meet the person behind the master pieces! Never did I expect the person to be so genuine and amazing in many ways!

Mette is superb! From calming me down when I couldn't decide on the lace for my dress, to being so flexible with appointments over the months to helping me count all of my many buttons the day before my wedding.

She is extremly professional and passionate about her work. Having Mette as part of my wedding experience was a wonderful feeling. My husband use to comment how I was always smiling after visiting Mette for a fitting (which was sometimes not the case when trying to sort other wedding tasks which all brides know) I visited many bridal shops in Ireland and Scotland but Mette was the top lady for me:)
