About Friendly Access

Too many individuals and their families affected by hidden disabilities and mental health conditions live in isolation through fear and lack of support. Help us believe one day, society has the understanding and empathy to cater for everyone living with all disabilities and mental health conditions, access everyday services we all take for granted. No one should live in isolation. Friendly Access has been established to bring individuals and services they wish to access together so individuals can lead a life they choose. Just as adjustments are in place to help individuals with physical disabilities, our focus and aims are on realistic adjustments and support in catering for individuals living with hidden disabilities and mental health conditions. We provide 3 levels of training, tailored environmental assessments and innovative technology (soon to be launched), which assists service users and providers to connect. This all comes with continued support from us within a trusted network of service providers. Our concept is one which is currently untapped in the UK and our holistic approach covers many aspects. We are solution hunters for changes to an environment and for better understanding. Well done is better than well said and we like to think we do precisely that. At Friendly Access, we value and empower our staff because far too many individuals living with hidden disabilities and mental health conditions are undervalued from what they can offer. We currently employ 6 autism training team members who are all expects. Why are they autism experts? Because, they all have a diagnosis of autism. "Awareness is great, understanding is everything.
