Fryer Tuck'S Chip Shop

Apart from the usual, I buy fresh haddock here and it's lovely....friendly helpful staff and the have a new hot counter now.

Had an order last night, fish was delicious, best I've had in a long time, we had also ordered a panini which was out of stock, but Friar Tucks phoned me to ask about a substitute, which we accepted, it was also delicious, my granddaughter had one of the kids meals and was delighted with it, was delivered within a reasonable time and delivery driver found my house with no trouble (which isn't always the case, as we are rural), all in all I'm impressed and will be ordering again! Well done!

Poor quality seems to be the norm, though it does depend entirely on the staff on duty at the time..

There are much better chippies within a short walk..

I don't think I've ever had a more diabolical meal in my life, the chips were definitely not cooked fresh and were rock hard, won't be going back that's for sure 👍

Good food but sometimes a bit more expensive than the tawny but otherwise great with good portion sizes and well cooked food

Staff are very friendly. Good proper Scottish chippy
